While I agree that glutathione forms a cloudy mikly liquid, until the pH is in the right range, I have to add that glutathione is highly heat sensitive. In other words, it's thermal stability is low. I could not find much data to prove my point, but here is a table with glutathione in solution degrading even at room temperature. Your research would probably net better results, if the glutathione is not heated in the progress of dissolving, but instead cooled. Adding NaOh to it, heat is generated anyways. I always try to keep the temp as low as possible, to ensure a high quality end product.
