Kratom For Pre-work out?

Yeah once you get thet opioid glow/euphoria is almost impossible not to want it all the time.

Microdosing mushrooms (or even just full on tripping once a month for a few months) or BPC 157 alginate orally might help your brain heal. Also begin meditating and look into cognitive behavioral therapy.

Edit: what symptoms do you have remaining?
Just zero motivation. Find zero pleasure in anything and just general malaise. I actually was on bpc157 the first few weeks of CT quitting. The acute withdrawal symptoms didn’t bother me like most. Prevalent the first week but nbd in the grand scheme of things.

Not sure if it’s seratonin/dopamine related or just general beat down of my brain chemistry but I’m just existing right now. But I know it will eventually get better. Just really shocking that it could very well take 100 days. Amazing considering I’m really healthy overall and heal quickly in general.

I heard someone recently say that kratom hits the stimulant receptors, opiate receptors and SSRI receptors. That’s why many people that have been addicted to much harder drugs think it’s harder coming off kratom. I can’t speak for withdrawing from benzos or other opiates but I can attest that this sucks lol

Also I’ll say this about kratom. There’s a huge disparity in strains, brands and freshness. All are important in the strength of kratom and its addictiveness.

I had found a strong, reliable source for the majority of my usage. But a disruption in supply at the end is what triggered the start of withdrawals. All the other brands I tried to substitute with just weren’t hitting the receptors like the good stuff. So I decided if I’m going to be sick then I might as well quit now instead of prolonging this.

I’ll add my opinions on this.

I’ve never taken Kratom as a PW, I had prior to cardio.

I enjoy it after my lift, helps me be sedated comfortable and able to not eat everything in sight ( been cutting for 2 years I was a fatty)

Kratom will raise your prolactin if you take it often and more so in high dosages. The stuff can be super addictive and with time physically as well as the mental addiction.

I don’t have a terribly addictive personality so for me it’s something I indulge in once or twice a week. I set this rule for myself no more than twice a week. The day I break that rule I will never touch it again.

I have gone weeks without and have been withdrawl free because I limit my indulgence. I’ve been able to get along like this for over a year.

I would say stay away from extracts if possible they bump tolerance quick. Good Kratom vs bad Kratom is night and day.

For me it’s something I treat like having a couple drinks and it has in fact cut down on my drinking to maybe once or twice a month.

I enjoy reds for relaxing and greens for energy. The sex on 4 grams of green is out of this world.

My PSA to anyone who’s never indulged is if you have any inkling of addictive behavior I wouldn’t touch it. But I don’t think it’s the villain it’s made out to be, it like everything in life requires moderation.

I may try a green on my next big push day and will report back if I feel it’s helped my lift. Really trying to cut down on my caffeine intake so would be curios if its something I can do once a week before a heavy day.

Try going off all caffeine for a few weeks to help your adrenergic receptors repair. Also find a rhythm and stick to it : sleep, forod, and exercise. Don't overtrain obv. You'll get it back bro jus give it more time.

Yes it has affinity for a good dozen different brain receptors, if I remember correctly. Similar to tianeptine, which also has a wiiiide range of pharmacological activity and people find it extremely extensive difficult to get off, even more so than kratom. I would for sure say heroin withdrawals and overran worse, but shorter lived. I surmise Kratom used long term requires the brain, similar to antidepressants, which is why the recovery is so much longer.

Going off venlafaxine (a STRONG SNRI) was one of the worse withdrawing for me and it took 9 months to stabilize.

TO COMFORT people: cold turkey of most substances won't cause u issues unless you have preexisting health issues. But for ANYONE going cold turkey while physicality dependant on alcohol or benzos could cause seizures, heart issues, and death. Cessation or even tapering of these substances should 100% ALWAYS be monitored by a doctor in an inpatient setting.

Never realized the healing power.
You know when my father took me to the forest and the reserve as a child. I did not understand why, he said, one must learn to hear and feel nature. Then nature will be in unity with you and will give you strength. Then it was funny to me. But when I got older and come to my homeland and go to the forests, and touch those places of power where my father and I walked. It's like I'm recharged.

Indeed

That is a wonderful aspect

Sounds like it does and sounds like it is a beautiful place

Thats incredible, do you set a day/couple hours aside and go in nature? Set and setting? Never realized the healing power.
Yeah I actually was just at my cabin this time. I had some internal stuff to work on. I live inbthe forest though. Sat onbthe deck for a bit then whenbit hit hard I laid on the couch and turned on some music and just did some thinking and worked through some shit. I'm an experienced musher so for many thay could cause them to get freaked out. For me they make me profoundly calm. I could find a black widow crawling in my and I would simply brush it off outside lol

BTW the music was just some nice guitar instrumental. It serves to ground you, lest you overcomplicate your own mind. Always have an anchor with high doses or very strong shrooms.

What is the mechanism by which this drug works?
Psilocybin breaks down into psilocin which is a strong 5-HT2a receptor agonist and weaker 5-HT1a and 1d as well as 2c serotonin subreceptors. Mushrooms primary active is psilocin which is 4-HO-DMT.

It drastically increases neuroplasticity, allowing users to literally rewire their brains, make new neural connections, see patterns that were previously not noticeable (especially when self examining your own behaviors). This is why they are SO therapeutic and research is busting through the DEAs retarded sch 1 status on then to allow for medical use.

Then again you can always just buy spores and grow your own. It's easy. My grandpa did it when he was alive.

Yes i listened to orchestra meditiation. I agree just sounds. No words. I find that is important. Because when thinking gets too intense, i can draw back to music and just breath deeply.

Sounds like a beautiful time!

Does LSD function in a similar manner? Both have had positive effects for me, but I will say mushrooms tend to shift positive outlook for a much longer duration after use.

I’ve been using 4 grams of Kratom preworkout once a day, few times a week. I’ve noticed slight come down effect just from that, sort of like anxiety and fatigue. After a few days straight on it I didn’t feel like doing shit yesterday! I’m going to limit it to a few times a week max and try to avoid multiple days in a row

Has the worst PAWS of anything. I had razorblade joints for months coming off it. Be careful indeed.

It hurts your joints?
Yes when you come off the stuff, since it dulls pain while on, when coming off it feels like razor blades in your joints. Its called something along the line of hypersensitive joint pain. But there is a scientific name.

I dropped it to just 2 grams preworkout today, I’m not going to get hooked on the shit, I don’t even see the point to using it other than preworkout cause after abt 90 min it wears off
