So apparently running has beat the shit out of my knee. Squats werent great. Knee pain got really bad. Was planning a 3x3 at 405 and had to stop. Tried workin on some stability stuff on the pit shark and basically limped out of the gym. Getting old I guess,lol

I’ve been doing a day dedicated to slingshot Bench. Basically some regular bench paused warmup and then 3 attempts increased weight in each like a meet. Then a variation for accessories after. Started around my raw max and Progressive over load, going up 5 lbs each week. Definitely shows carry over but it requires a spotter and there’s probably a limit To how long it’ll work.

Spotter for sure I think thats why I am a lot lower on my numbers for SS as I dont have a spotter

Busy busy weekend, drove halfway across Texas and back to get some furniture from my sister in law who’s selling her house. She’s giving us a bunch of nicer furniture so we’re upgrading but now have a bunch of shit to get rid of. Also managed to trade a rifle and sell a rifle so came out on the up side of gun deals for a change. Knee is fucking screaming at me so skipped squats, probably try again tomorrow, maybe just singles.

Lifes been hectic, went to the MAT Lady Wednesday. My knee is feeling better but still have adductor pain pretty bad in the other leg. Bench moving well having some success there at least. Got my meals and food in a good spot where I’m finally starting to drop a Little weight, fatigue is there but it’s not unbearable. Been try into get back into hunting and shooting but seems like the wife is extremely bothered by me having hobbies. The joys of being married.

Knee feeling better, been working on breaking the at the hip when initiating the movement. Loading up the glutes and managing my decent speed. Long weekend, went hunting no pigs. Plenty of beer. Did some work around the deer camp. Some metal roofing and moving around some trailers. One of the dudes that was with us fell asleep in the blind and was snoring so loud he probably scared everything off. Plenty of deer, I think the pigs migrated off the property. Rifle season for deer starts in November so probably be actually doing some shooting then.

Does she have any hobbies? Seems like a lot of women have literally none. Mine didn't take to the gym, but have gotten her into gaming and cars a little.
