What did you inject today?

I always figured the pharma trials stuck to once-a-week purely for patient compliance. Their target demographic is mostly gen-pop who probably aren't thrilled about needles. If Lilly told them to pin multiple times a week, trial drop-out rates would probably be huge.

I'm definitely no expert on this, but from what I understand, Reta's half-life is around 6 days. Wouldn't taking the whole weekly dose at once give you a massive peak (and potentially more GI sides) followed by a trough where the hunger comes back right before your next shot?

Just thinking out loud, but since most guys here don't mind pinning anyway, it seems like splitting it into two smaller doses (like E3.5D) would keep blood serum levels way more stable and smooth out the ride. Has anyone else noticed less nausea or better appetite control doing it this way?
IME , when I was doing RETA twice a week I was getting massive overlap because of the half-life’s and it was absolutely wrecking me, i thought splitting the doses would keep my bloods more stable , BUT i could not eat at all, and I was doing a very, very small weekly dose. But because of the overlap, it was building up in my system. This drug does affect people way differently so there’s no cookie cutter dose protocol., it’s basically whatever works for you.

I do every 5 days, which has been working well for me. At 7 days I could start to feel the effects taper off a bit (things like increased food noise). The only thing to keep in mind is that dosing 5mg every 5 days is similar to dosing 7mg every 7 days.

I think the jury is still out on the most effective dosing protocol.

i do same with tirz, works better

Pinning more frequently reduces the peaks, which could limit the effectiveness. As I understand it, some benefits do not kick in until you’ve hit a certain concentration. Admittedly, I am still learning, but this is my understanding and part of my rationale.
This "logic" would not only not take into account the ester, but also would mean that injecting a huge volume/dose one time and then not inject anything for 1-2 weeks, because peak...
I would bet you anything you want that the guys who actually have results, competing and such, inject either daily or every 2 days, otherwise achieving 2g of test and 1g of primo or something like that would mean 5ml injections.

We’re talking specifically about Reta.

Up to what point? I’m taking 3mg/day for tennis elbow, and it’s not resolving nearly fast enough.
I get this one quite often. Here is something I do that helps:

Wrap the top of the elbow joint with knee wraps or something similar to constrict blood flow. Pump the arm by opening closing the hand or flexing the elbow until you get a painful pump. Take off the wrap and rest for a bit before repeating.

The idea is the elbow doesn't get much blood flow so it heals slowly.

1mg did not help me much either, that is 1mg of BPC + 1mg of TB500. But to be honest, my issues might have not been treatable this route.
I stopped at 1mg because my dad had a massive blood pressure drop hours after his 2nd .5mg pin of the day. Dangerously low in fact. Granted hes on BP meds. Anecdotally it can lower blood pressure. So that made me stop there.

Im gonna try going to 2mg today. We shall see

Thats a pretty solid idea there. My dad suffers from tennis elbow. Im gonna pass that along to him. Thanks!

I did not have any BP issues, but I never tried more than 2mg per day for short period.

1st time I heard about higher doses was a friend pinning 2.5mg for stomach issues from reta. Within hours he felt better.

Then I saw the post here last night.
im going tobgive it a shot, pun intended lol

At this point point I’ll try anything, so I’ll add this to the Tyler Twists and BPC/TB.
