The problem with bulk supplements magnesium glycinate and magnesium citrate is they mix in magnesium oxide. Causes digestive upset and diarrhea. It's complete shit that they label it as magnesium glycinate but you can see right there in your picture under amount per serving that it is actually a mix. I had to switch to nutricost msg glycinate powder because they don't mix in the shitty mag oxide
i seen this , but doesn't seem to be giving me much dierreah or issues, its only been a couple days since i started this combo in the morning.

If it doesn't cause you issues that's great but it was crippling for me until I switched brands
Magnesium citrate is more potent osmotic laxative than magnesium oxide though.

Messed up they don't list the amount of each, so I asked chat GPT about using the element weight of oxide vs glycinate to track down the ratio in the Bulk supplements powder. Came out basically all glycinate, and trace amounts of the oxide. Here's the link with answer to my question about it..

Well damn! I always heard it the other way around. The mag glycinate from nutricost works great though.
Ever need a good cleanout, chug a bottle of this

I am curious what taking 6-8 g of magnesium does for you? Severe diarrhea?

Nah, if it's glycinate it's hard to give you diarrhea. Also, i think it's 10% elemental so 6-8gr give 600-800mg magnesium.

Anyway, I've always bought bisglycinate caps but it was OOS and the only thing closer was buying powder but never again. Now I'm taking 4 caps of 200mg bisglycinate pre bed and that's it.

now i don't feel so bad about my purchase,

Great read as usual!

A few questions:

1) Regarding creatine synthesis - Does supplementing creatine while on Var multiply (or at least increase and/or feed) the increased synthesis mechanism?

2) I have always split Var daily dosages 1/2 AM,1/2 PM AND taken each with a small amount of coffee which research has shown to increase effects. Is there a recommended protocol based on your research?

3) Does Var as a pre-workout only (only on workout days) make sense from a strength/fat burning standpoint and would this approach minimize negative lipid consequences? Trade-off is my guess but I have never experimented.
I was wondering this too. Would supplementing creatine have a synergistic effect with anavar?
