Total testosterone dropped significantly after adding EQ and Tren

I was running a180mg a week T cruise which put me at 1320 total. I increased it to 500mg and got new labs after 4 weeks and was up to 2700.

I then added 250mg a week of EQ right after, and then 3 weeks later (so a week ago) I added 120mg of Tren Ace a week. So I got new labs again after being on EQ for 4 weeks and Tren Ace for a week. Yes, this wasn't a well planned cycle, I'm aware of that.

Anyway. My new total testosterone is 2000, a significant drop.

I injected on the same days each and got my labs the same days of the week each time (3 days after last injection), so no difference in timing from injection to labs. Also the same lab was used.

Dafuq?

Also EQ crushed my E2, it dropped from 58 to 8.1. Ugh.

I don't have my free T number yet to see where that's at, but I didn't get that last time (4 weeks ago) anyway so the only number I have for that was when I was on a cruise and it was 254.

You lowered your SHBG and thus have less bound testosterone. People have it backwards, thinking it will raise your free T.

Thank you for this. I ran my situation through ChatGPT and that's what it's telling me too, but I was hesitant to accept it because AI is often very, very wrong and so confidently so. But this helps confirm that.

Try Lcms testing method. It's not unheard of for example Deca to cause false results for total Testosterone for standard non sensitive method. Hormones can be picked up and falsely using regular cheaper testing.

This was LCMS
Then my only thought, is you actually missed that T injection/or instead injected EQ/Tren.

So my advice is wait it out and try one more time to test your TT after 2-4 weeks. We all make mistakes, but it's unlikely your T levels somehow dropped because of Eq or Tren.

I didn't miss an injection or inject the wrong thing, and besides, the answer was explained above by someone else - low SHBG (from the tren) causes total T to drop but it doesn't affect anabolism/androgen load in any way since free T is still elevated. The high free T confirms high anabolism. Read the linked paper of you're interested in understanding this.

This was something I wasn't aware of at the time but have since read up on it and confirmed it's the case.

Too many different units, what is the reference range for your lab?
It's the same units - ng/dL for both.

Their range for free T is 5-21 ng/dL, and mine is 78.42.

For total T the range is 264-916 ng/dL, and mine is 2043.2

It then also lists % free testosterone as 3.84% out of a scale of 1.5-4.2%. I believe higher is better here as well, because it means very high bioavailability.
