POSING!

I’m glad I have something more to add than the standard “here’s my cycle, help?” And “which source is gtg?” Lol.

If someone can benefit off what I’ve done, am doing, or can speak to; all the better. posing is also ignored so often I have trouble watching some shows. Even pro contests. Such a shame.
This is the old Meso mentality that I originally joined for. Good to have you with us.
 
Stills from the routine being put together for a first time Classic Physique competitor. This is set to “Fix Me” by 10 Years. All starts from sketches seen in the last photo.

Note that these are roughly executed and i am fat. First ab thigh will be adjusted, probably with the back (right) hand down on the hip. The second ab thigh facing front will be a vacuum. We are working transitions he can handle (it’s a skill and 4 weeks he had from linking up with me and hitting the stage isn’t enough to make him fluid in the more advanced movements). The lat spread is also before the half lat spread (upload order wrong).

Maybe I’ll grab some masks (Halloween themed, Santa Claus lol) so I can posr actual vids.

Alright here goes. I've posting some pics before and got real feedback before so I can handle it. Don't be shy. Cruising for like 3 month. No diet since the beginning of August. Not looking bad considering I've eaten pizza damn near everyday for lunch since the show. 5'11 and i think about 195-200lbs

I know my posing is bad but it's not terrible. Take that back, my abdominal and thigh is shit. My mid section in general is probably my weakest spot by far. I'm not posting it because I didn't even flex my quads because I was struggle trying to make my abs not look like shit lol.

Let’s do it. I start all my poses from the floor. So that’s where I’ll start here.

Foot position looks pretty good, but you’re turned too far away from the audience with where your knee is facing. Bring that knee back to just a few degrees past parallel to the audience (facing away).

Up top, it looks like your hand is palm down; very tricky to execute like that. If it’s palm down, try flipping it to palm up, and grabbing your fingers, not your whole hand, and pull down into a more straight arm look. This will allow you to rotate your shoulder back and also be less bladed up top, showing some of your pec/Delt that are in the rear.

You can also toy with some other variations (shown) to see what looks best for you. One is Dorian, doesn’t need introduction. The other is Lloyd Herford. One of my all time favorite side tris here as he kicked my ass at Nats last year while winning his pro card.

I am going to try to think of better way s of critiquing these to maximize value. Suggestions welcome.

So obviously my side tri is still ugly but this is my first time trying it this way and already looks 100x better. Thanks @Mac11wildcat .
