Making the switch to powerlifting, Gobuckeyes 2017 log

I can't achieve the from rack position to front squats either. I just don't do them.
I've would like to be able to but I'm just not flexible. Low bar squats was hard enough for me to get, I keep my hands out wide for those bc I can't bend them enough to get them close. Overall flexibility is a 1/10 lol

Well vacation was awesome, was needed. I drank and ate so much shit. But I'm suppose to be heading back home this morning but can't bc the fuel pump went out in my dads truck Tuesday as soon as we got to North Carolina. The place guaranteed us it would be fixed by today and it's still sitting outside where it has been since it was dropped off. I'm now stuck with 7 adults, 1 child, and 1 dog in a rental car that I rented. Nowhere to go, no money for a hotel and I don't wanna leave my dad behind with my nieces. To say I'm freaking oUt a little bit would be a understatement.

Rough start of the week. Worked up to 3x5 405 squats. I felt strong AF but tired out rather quickly and took longer in between sets. Don't know if it was bc I took a week off or not. I feel great tho, my weight is up to 230, about 10 pounds heavier than when I started but this is bc I ate like shit the last 2 weeks. Definitely ate like shit last week, those all you can eat crabs legs where the shit tho

This is the conclusion I came to when I powerlifted for nearly a decade when I was younger. I took a decade off and am 3 months back in to training. Take a decade off and you start over. Lol

Ok lol yea the week off I took was nice but this first week back is rough as fuck. I probably won't ever take a week off again. I'll just deload and lift at half the weight for a week and work on form.
