Is it a good practice to train minor/maintenance muscle groups while resting for the big lifts?

When training for strength, is it a good practice to train minor/maintenance muscle groups while resting for the big lifts? I rest for 5-8 minutes but like to do some maintenance work for muscle groups that im not interested in growing/strengthening that much in the meantime. I know you deplete the ATP while exercising, but it this a local thing related to the muscles you are using, or will you hinder your chest ATP recovery if you do some bicep curls in the meantime?

I believe atp depletion is both systemic and muscle group specifi. Different pathways. If you’re doing a 3x3 on bench and superset with Ez bar curls you’ll most certainly limit the top end performance. Small muscle groups are involved in the big lifts as stabilizer muscles and can definitely hold you back when intensity is high.
