That's true. If you ever do something stupid enough (like become a dealer) to get the authority's attention, they can look back years. EVEN TO PACKS YOU RECEIVED THAT WEREN'T SEIZED, INCLUDING DOMESTIC MAIL, BOTH INCOMING AND OUTGOING.
Every piece of mail is photographed and recorded, which can be requested by investigators, as those who use Informed Delivery should know.
I've even seen court docs with a mention of records of packages sent to "a lab in europe known for analyzing controlled substances", I'm assuming Jano, via UPS (which has a data sharing agreement with the government), used as circumstantial evidence in the prosecution of a steroid manufacturing/distributing organization a couple of years ago.
