Yes you do and a judge has 6 months to approve the permit application...he took 9 with me. For no good reason. But hey they can do what they want their a judge in a very democratic controlled state. What better way to deny my rights than to impede them based on nothing. Fuck New York sincerely

I never had issues that I can remember. It'll definitely get warm but they love dumping rounds. Do you know if you're getting the old school style, or the new kind with the better barrels and operating rod cover?

Ya, I know AKs are cheaper, but they just scream cheap to me. Something about em I just don't like. A guns gotta look good too brother! I'd rather save up a little more & get an AR rather than an AK if I was going down that road.

No. Shitty AKs are cheaper. Quality AKs make the mini 30, and many other guns look like shit. You can buy garbage AKs as well as garbage ARs. Just gotta know what you're looking for an know the purpose of your firearm. The only reason I suggested the AK is because the mini 30 fires the same round. 7.62x39. The reason I said M1a (M14) is because it's basically the older brother of the "mini" rifles, chambered in .308 or 7.62x51. Personally I would choose my AK over an AR, mini, and plenty of other semi auto rifles. Because I know mine is built like a tank, accurate and set up to my liking. It's also a beautiful gun to look at.
This is very similar to what my rifle looks like with some slight differences. Not going to post my personal gun but it's VERY similar.

if you are gonna go that route pony up and get the SCAR...they are becoming more affordable then the once were a few years back
