Ive shot a Kimber before an it was just as you put it...."Smooth" lol. I havent fired a shit load of 45's but I have a few an that Kimber by far had the softest recoil I have ever felt in a 45cal!!!

Okay boys, one of my 2016 resolutions is to eat more wild game.... With that, I need a good well-rounded hunting rifle. I was thinking Remington 700 in 30-06, thoughts on this? Here in AZ it will mostly be deer and elk.

Can't go wrong with a 700. Like you said plenty of after market parts to customize the rifle to your liking. I prefer. 308, but that's just me. 30-06 will do just fine. Happy hunting man.

lol yeah pretty much. I take it out and look at it just about every hour and Ive probably taken 2 dozens pics of it. I may name my first born after it.

That's what always happens when I open this one up. My wife bought it for me for Christmas a few years back. My mom & my wife went down to the gun shop & bought my dad & I matching pistols that are serialized one after the other.

Pretty guns. Be a shame to ever have to hit the ground with one and possibly scratch it. Kimber makes a solid weapon but my I don't worry about pretty. I just want a platform that performs every time I need it and in return, I promise to keep it clean and hit whatever is in my sights.

Yeah if and when that happens I've actually got a really good cerakote guy. He does amazing work and you can't scratch that finish. Would hate to customize a kimber though. I'm sure I will one day.

I'm sporting a Rem 700, 7mm mag. Nice straight shooter for elk, antelope and deer around here. Good luck, there are some monster bulls in AZ!

My ar15 sniper rifle. I built it using nothing but quality parts. Geisle ssa enhanced trigger, David tubs buffer spring and tube, magpul prs adjustable stock, swfa super sniper scope, white oaks armament precision upper with an 18 inch 1/7 twist heavy barrel, etc, etc. Quite the head turner at the range.

How much ammo does everyone have? Between .22, 9mm, .308, 5.56 and slugs/shells for 12 gauge I'm sitting around 7k rounds. I don't want to be low if/when there's a panic about the next election and prices potentially shoot up.
