Got sick for 2 week and lost considerable amount of size, was in a bulk…. Help plz

Hey guys, 34M here and just got sick for 2ish weeks.


Diet wasent to bad but was probably around 800-1000


calories a day va normal 3500


Was weighting in around 199 pounds and left at 180.


So cut about 20 pounds and feeling small. Any insight what to do to regain and out back on the mass,?


Assume need to get back into the gym slowly and take my time. Appriciate everyone's help and input, as I am very depressed currently and not happy about it


Will muscle memory come into play? Regain is quicker Then simply gaining?

All you lost was water and glycogen. Just go back to your normal diet and training and you’ll be fine.
Had a little chest issue which will prevent me for 2-3 weeks to get back into heavy lifting etc… focusing on diet and walking to keep everything moving atleast
