Yes, I was born into money and no I will not apologize for it. I can guarantee you that I have worked harder in my lifetime than you can ever imagine bro. Trust me, my family has given me nothing. I paid for my own schooling, my own car, insurance, had a job when I was 16 (and have always kept a job, unlike many other pieces of shit in this country), bought my own house......etc.

My grandfather quit high school when he was 16, lied about his age and joined the Air Force so taht he could send money home to his mom and his 6 brothers and sisters. After 40 years of hard work, he died a very wealthy man. Unlike many others in this country..he was smart enough to keep his money and not lose it.....i.e.: the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

Same story for my dad. dirt poor growing up. Between his 4 brothers, there is 5 college degrees and 2 masters.....

I was fortunate to belong to a family with so much financial security, but for you to imply that I "do not work hard" is just stupid.

I'm sorry you don't have it as good as others....but crying about it isn't gonna do anygood.

all i was implying is you said in one of your ealier post you built your biz up with hard work and determination but it seems as though its your family biz, and how can you say i dont have it as good as others , true you probably make more than me , I bring in around 60k a year and I work for it and I am also a college grad , you need to learn money and your job doesnt make you the man you are.

I am perfectly capable of coming onto this board or any other and having a friendly, yet heated, debate with colleagues. Apparently you are unable to do so.

Also, you are implying that I did not help build up my families business, yet you know nothing about me. My grandparents money and my immediate families money are totally unrelated. I was just trying to prove a point that hard work and determination will take you many more places than a government program will.

I made a generalization about you "not being as well off as others" to prove another point: you and I don't know each other, so how can you make blanket statements about me "not working" and "having everything handed to me". How do business owners suffer more when people are out of work???? It is the opposite bro...there are many workers to be had.

And I"m not worried about the unemployment rate as it is at a relatively low 5.4%. Now I know what you are gonna say: "yeah, but people who have been out of work for over a year are no longer considered unemployed". True, but neither are people like my g/f who quit her "low paying" job as a pharmacy technician to go into real estate...where she is technically self employed. She counts on the Household empolyment rate....which is often a better indicator in that it takes into account those who got out of the work force to become self employed.
