My cashapp was closed. They said I violated their terms of service. I had this account from 3 years. I have made less than 10 total purchases from "sources"... has anyone encountered this and what exchange should I use now?

Just went thru exodus and now they are declining payment because of my bank. Called bank to tell them isn't fraud. Card is still being declined. Sometimes this shit is annoying

Depends on your bank. I know at least 3 of the big ones will flat out refuse crypto purchases, no exceptions. PayPal will too, unless you buy it from them, and then they're even strict about moving it to a different wallet. In person P2P is the best, Bisq is decent if you can't find anyone local, it's just slow.

This just happened to me as well.
I never sent BTC directly through CashApp though, always to an intermediary first then coin join & send to vendor.
Currently using Trust wallet for fiat on-ramp, it’s okay but I have the same issues of card declining the transaction. PITA

i wonder why that happens, i have had the same cash app account with over 15k bought in btc and sent to my wallets, never an issue. account still strong

I've been doing Venmo -> Exodus -> Vendor. With reports of peoples accounts getting shut down even when using a buffer wallet im thinking i might figure out P2P.

Looks hard on the surface to the crypto-averse, but it's actually extremely simple. The 30-day limit on anything bigger than couple hundred bucks is a pain, but it's only 30 days and you can just do multiple transactions to get what you need in the meantime.

One has kyc, one doesn't.
So far as I know, exodus delisted Monero last month. Kraken is the only big exchange that still lets you buy and sell it.
Not so big of a deal in the PED world, but I wish it was.
