My fifth attempt at Indiamart which is a hub for scammers, resulted in a scam like the other four.
A company called Sanofi Impex has been scamming people in Indiamart for 4 years under the Trusted Seller label.
About 45 days ago, I contacted them via WhatsApp and sent them 400 USD via btc for some raws. Two weeks later, they closed their WhatsApp line, and I continued contacting them via Indiamart online chat. They told me the same lies each time, and despite being online every day, they haven't responded to my last message for a week.
I previously complained about Mewar Inorganics to Indiamart customer support, and they closed their account within 10 days. Now I'm going to file a similar complaint for Sanofi Impex, and I hope they close it as well.
If you contact a seller from Indiamart, only communicate through Indiamart online chat. This way, you can present the chat conversations as evidence to Indiamart customer support in case of fraud. If the seller insists on communicating with you via WhatsApp or another app, they are definitely scammers. Also, make sure the seller is older than six years and has over 100 customer reviews.

If an Indian smiles at you while you're walking down the street, call the police immediately; it's probably trying to scam you.
