The timing of the conversation with testicult was very interesting as I was writing a talk about the benefits and challenges of online ethnography, so his testing of me was a good example to use. Don't feel obliged to kick him out on my account. I can handle it and he made good in the end

Not in line with my true character at all. I did a recent one on steroid harm reduction which is based on the paper I reference millard in (it's very long though so either listen while you are doing something or read the description and just skip to the bits you are interested in). Mostly I do academic publications so you probably don't want to read those. I try and do videos to get the info back to the community. Gonna do a shorter, less boring one on that harm reduction paper soon so people don't have to sit through something that long. Also going to do something on my insulin research soon too. Take a lot of long walks and listen to a lot of 'long boring stuff.' So it actually sounds up my alley, I'll track it down for a little unwind after work here.

I wonder if this is just something, I don't want to say prevalent, but something that is heard of more in the bodybuilding world? Does it have something to do with the admiration of the male physique? I know appearance is everything there so there is an intense fascination with the male form (doesnt have to be in a homosexual way).

All I've ever heard of brojobs was as a joke, or something like that, not something anyone has ever actually practiced.

I come from the strongman/powerlifting world where strength is king and appearance is secondary. I've NEVER heard of anyone doing this but I'm not saying it doesn't happen.
