12,000 steps a day trying to bulk

So doing this thus far gained 4 lbs, yet i look leaner. Just SUCKS so angry i got a hernia 2 days ago.

But still going to go hard and eat a ton.

Get my protein shake finally tomorrow. So will be adding 100 grams of protein shakes a day, even 150.
Scored and look better, it's a good speaker.

If not a secret, but you can have an example of your activity.

It varies all over but heres an example.

I go freediving for the day. According to a university of berkeley study freediving burns as much as 1,200 calories an hour. Lets conservatively say 1000/hour.

So when i freedive its best to be fasted, ideally 18 hours but i usually am 12 or so hours fasted. I freedive for acombined total of 8 hours, but spend an entire 10 hours out and about, i eat nothing because digestion steals blood i need for oxygen uptake to maximize my breath hold durations.

So in 10 hours im at -8000 calories. I also plan to sleep 8 hours. This leaves me with just 6 hours of feeding time. As soin as i get back from freediving i begin gorging using the overfeeding protocols i detailed in previous posts. Lets say somehow i manage to eat 6000 calories in those 6 hours (1000 cals an hour intake rate), im still at -2000 calories for the day. One pound of fat is supposedly about 3500 calories, so ive burned over a half pound of fat for the day whilst eating 6000 calories.

This isnt my everyday, but sometimes i freedive 7 days a week. For example this coming January im off on a month long freediving expedition, i expect to freedive for 6+ hours a day everyday for a month straight, i expect to lose a lot of mass as i will not be able to out eat this activity level.

Consequentially, my body weight can easily fluctuate by 15kg month to month based on various dranatic shifts in activity level pertaining to my hobbies. Right now im ramping up a bulking to add mass that i then expect to lose most of in January.

How much new information. I didn't even know about this hefty cost. You are human :). Looks like a terminator. Wow, what weight fluctuations of 15 kg. I'm surprised in a good way.

By the way, I noticed. When I do, for example, I run 23 km, then I go for a walk with my dog, which is about 10 km.
I don’t feel like eating, I can not eat until 6 pm, and there is no lethargy. but the pulse drops to 40-45 beats and I start to freeze terribly.

I did. I did like a 9 month run, going as high as 10iu/day, while also doing fasted freediving post-injection at the end. That was back when i was in Canada, and was only freediving around 3 hours at a time, maybe 4-5 days a week, mid spring/summer only.

I ended up at 5.4% BF after just a month into freediving. According to my fat caliper readings. I didnt take any before readings so no idea what % i started the season at (but was already 6-pack abs lean). I took 3 readings in a row and then selected the middle reading. On the lowest of the 3 readings it was 5.1%.

I dont know how truly accurate caliper readings are, but i had 10-pack abs, full seperation of my upper/lower pecs, striations everywhere, and spider webs of veins throughout my upper chest area.

The thing is, i was trying to bulk at the time, but just got shredded as fuck instead despite eating as much food as i could possibly manage to get in me. Im probably one of the few guys who ends up shredded when trying to bulk. I wasnt eating clean either, almost every night i was hitting up mcdonalds for their largest size of milkshake, two double quarter pounders with cheese (thats x2 quarter pound patties per burger), and a large fries. That was my bedtime snack most nights that summer.

Now i live in the tropics and can freedive all year round so its even harder for me to bulk. Back in Canada i could only dive about 4 months out of the year as it got too cold, so winter hiatus was helpful with bulking. The struggle is real bro, but 12,000 steps s day is nothing, easy to out eat that.
