Stacking HGH with Tirzepatide

Anyone here running GH + Tirzepatide? What happened to your glucose and health markers?

Context: I’m currently on 15 mg tirzepatide weekly + 3 IU GH daily. Goal isn’t crazy fat loss, mainly recovery/body-comp while keeping glucose control good.

Looking for real-world results (good or bad):
  • Fasting glucose / HbA1c / CGM trends after adding GH
  • Any shifts in resting HR, BP, lipids, water retention, sleep, appetite
  • Training performance or muscle retention in a small deficit
  • Timeframe when changes showed up; labs that actually mattered
  • Did timing of GH (AM vs pre-bed) make any difference to glucose for you?
Not asking for sourcing or dosing advice. Just experiences and which markers told you to continue vs stop.

TL;DR: On tirz 15 mg + GH 3 IU/day. Did this combo help or hurt your blood sugar and overall health markers? What did you see, and how did you monitor it?

GH is great with tirz for holding onto muscle in a cut. My bg has stayed very stable on tirz. I can't say I've grown or gotten stronger on tirz, but I have lost a lot of fat. I'm just recently transitioning off of the cut and on to a slow bulk.

How long were you running the combo for?

I've been using 15mg (+) Tirz with 4iu for 3 months, lower doses of GH prior to that.

Fasted glucose rose 10-15 points from the "pseudo insulin resistance" effect of lipolysis released FFAs.

Did your FBG settle back down after a few weeks or stay up? Also curious if you saw any change in A1c/CGM daily averages, or was it just the morning number that jumped?

FBG has stayed elevated, but I'm still shedding SubQ fat (to an impressive degree). Increasing cardio to burn off those FFAs dropped it back down slightly.

CGM averages have stayed the same, Any post priandal (meal) rise is immediately nuked by Tirz's intensified insulin response to glucose. To the point of brief reactive hypoglycemia being induced.

I'm watching carefully for any change. If averages begin to rise, and post priandal response is slower (less spiky), those will be the indicators GH is starting to cause real vs pseudo insulin resistance.

From what I understand 2-3iu is unlikely to cause real insulin resistance, but I'm slightly above that dose,

Cardio helping makes sense, since you’re literally oxidizing those circulating FFAs and reducing the competition for glucose uptake. Have you noticed any difference between steady-state vs higher-intensity work in terms of pulling fasting down?

From what I’ve seen, GH around 2–3 IU/day tends to just cause that “pseudo-resistance” but if it progresses you’d expect to see delayed clearance and maybe creeping HOMA-IR.

I’m at 3 IU right now, so I’ll be tracking my fasting drift and whether the tirz still gives me that post-meal suppression.

I started tirz at the end of June. I have been very careful to not exceed 2lbs per week loss. I started gh 8/27 with 2iu. I've been up to 4iu since 9/10. I put on a few pounds after the gh went up to 4. I think it's water from the gh.
A quick couple pounds after bumping GH definitely tracks. classic water/glycogen from higher IGF-1 signaling and RAAS activity.

Have you noticed any difference in how you look/feel at 2 IU vs 4 IU? like pumps in the gym, sleep quality, or tightness in hands/ankles?

I didn’t notice anything on 2iu. I've only been on 4iu for 9 days, so I'm being careful to not blame it for everything just yet. I'd like to see 4-6 weeks before I decide. I have a little more vascularity, or maybe I'm just more aware of it because I know it's a thing. Zero tightness in hands or ankles.
