Anyone buying now is really left with two options. Wait until some point after May 2nd to see if packs that have shipped *after* May 2nd are landing, or roll the dice now.
Any de minimums packs "on the water", ie, in transit by May 1st, won't be subject to the new restrictions. If I were ordering anything now, I'd do it asap after asking if it'll be shipped by then (and hope they aren't lying).
Vendors not addressing this, and not suspending new orders (some have) are comfortable because it's a no lose proposition for them to take orders now. The risk is entirely on the buyer. If shit gets really jammed up, they can't do business the old way and could just decide to disappear ala QSC, and won't have to reship or deal with customers. Just reappear as a new company if they figure out an alternative way to ship (via a third party country or whatever).

THE ISSUE ISN'T THE MONEY, BUT WHETHER YOU WANT TO HAVE TO PAY CBP TO GET YOUR PACKAGE RELEASED, WHICH MEANS YOU'RE ACKNOWLEDGING YOU'RE THE "IMPORTER".
Starting May 2nd, someone, either you the recipient, or the Chinese logistics company will have to take responsibility as the "importer" of record for packages coming in from China.
Besides being liable for paying duties, the "importer", will take on much more legal responsibility for the contents of the package.
If you become the "importer", and scheduled drugs are found it's going to be hard to deny you knew what was in the package. This is a big change from the way things were previously where you had plausible deniability "I didn't order that'".
If a shipping company takes on that role, and scheduled drugs are found, the fines will be very heavy. Under the new requirements, the shipper is expected to positively identify who exactly is shipping that pack. If violations are repeatedly found the logistics/shipping company will be suspended costing them millions. They will do everything they can to prevent contraband from being shipped in their loads, so I expect shipping will become much more of a challenge for UGL vendors.

Since every package will required to provide much more data now, this will fuel AI systems that will target specific packs for inspection. For instance, "trusted sellers" like Temu and Shein will not have their packs routinely inspected, Packs coming from unrecognized sellers or sellers who were previously found to ship contraband, packs going to Americans with previous seizures or criminal records, names that don't match addresses, or suspicious patterns will be selected,
Logistics companies have been given previews of this by CBP, as a warning not to deal with packs from suspicious sellers. For at least the last 2 years, these systems have been fed training data so they can identify packages with a high probability of containing contraband.

If you can wait, it might be preferable to hold off until we see how this shakes out and how vendors deal with this, I think the risk of many taking the opportunity to disappear with your money during this chaos is high.

He is better than average but not one of the most. The guy was a racist cunt.
Most of his information he gets is from an AI search and has very limited experience in brewing, training, and running gear.
He has a guy training him with a pro card and is prescribed tirzepatide seems to be the most consistent back story of him.
He was so obsessed with filtering peptides which is fine but he is constantly focused on aggregates likes it going to kill us.
Constantly preaching harm reduction by filtering it but never has done testing to even confirm his product.
But his stories about his life and experiences contradict eachother and he is a LARPER.

However he... doesn't seem much experienced in the lifestyle of bodybuilding. Not that it's a bad thing, but he spoke like an authority without having the experience.

This will be short lived and quickly reinstated. But it may be a window of opportunity to get shipments through much more easily via the expected flood of packs taking advantage of no tarrifs.
If anyone's hesitated ordering from China because of the uptick in seizures and general slower shipping times, you may want to keep an eye on this and pull the trigger on an order the moment a return of the de minimus exemption is announced.
If that happens, it may last days, or a couple of months, but it'll be a short reprieve at most before de minimus is killed again, pack volumes drop, and customs scrutiny increases.

The key here is predicting how this is going to play out. Right now we have an administration that believes it has a mandate to completely alter trade with countries like China. Others might say that what we have incomplete dissatisfaction with the Democrat party (my position) more so than any kind of actual mandate. Executive orders can be powerful, but are time bound.
So right now raws (and it seems also GH) are in short supply. I actually predicted this and stocked up for the summer. Same with cowboy boots from Mexico, LOL.
However what happens after the summer is anyones guess.
In either case, I think it is good to keep the discussion of the problem going.

Do tell. SSA is OOS (and shipping is unpredictable) Opti web site isn't working for me, QSC is out of business. Looking into Lobster. Iron Lion is always reliable for me but is expensive and their last batch was cloudy.
Any advice except "search" is appreciated.

I'm not sure about any rush of packages for now. A few Sellers are even reporting couriers (in china) placing fines/charges on all sorts of lyophilized powders or raws, regardless of what it is labelled as. So they are on the search for newer lines with will still be slower, especially with their batched shipping.
