STOCK UP: Don't say you weren't warned! (US)

The end of de minimus, May 2, 2025.

TLDR:

-All packs from China and Hong Long will be assessed duties. 30% of the value of the package, or $25 per items going to $50 per item June 2nd.

-Highly detailed information regarding contents, shipper, and recipient will have to be given to CBP for every package. If anything is found to be falsified (like the pack actually contains drugs) significant fines will be imposed.

-Shipping companies will have to deposit large bonds with CBP to cover duties (and the large fines if contraband is found)

That would be the least of my worries, when the stock market keeps tumbling down every other week.

Hell, if I am American I would want know how to get into the Russian market maybe even learn the language and changing my name to Boris just to make sure lol.

That 0% tariffs sounds great right.
Oh bro... the possibilities are endless. I've already bought a pallet of vodka and a Rosetta Stone subscription... dah, niet.... I'm on my way... see you in Leningrad... I mean St. Petersburgh... or whatever Trump decides to call it. :p

I love how the Feds tried to make them sound like evil villains, cuz here's what they did with their blood money:

"Fields and Mahan used the proceeds to pay themselves, purchase cars, and purchase a residence in Texas"

Might as well said they used the money to buy groceries and pay their electric bills.

How dare they make a living without giving the government it’s rightfully owed cut!

1.4mil in tax free rev and only a 1-5? Kinda worth it. First offense non violent offender is getting house arrest.

Evidence? Who got banned for life

Evidence? Who got busted for this

You're just making shit up again & cherry-picking

Your arrogance is only exceeded by your ignorance.

From the case cited above. Notice the key factor here? There are dozens of similar indictments. all based on evidence of intention for human use.

From a recent FDA press release:

This is the final rule the FDA published in the Federal Register to guide prosecutors in establishing "intended use".

I don't need to provide a thesis worth of references to support a conclusion, though I will if someone asks politely. Posting a single illustrative reference isn't "cherry picking", it's being succinct.

I could cite the additional cases, but you're a disingenuous bad actor here on Meso, with no intellectual integrity, no interest in honest debate, no interest in harm reduction, and not worth the effort.

Not trying to insert myself into any back and forth, the reason why arrests are low these days is because everyone is wiser. These ones got themselves into that nonsense by ignoring FDA letters, denying they sold stuff for human use while answering Facebook posts about dosage and dosing schedules. Folks like Xcel, Helix, arctic, aminobros.. e.t.c as soon as they got FDA letters, they either modified their product in such a way as to reflect a discrepancy with human use, or they simply shut up shop, and rebranded. Prosecution is for those that love conducting business on Facebook while handing advice from their personal accounts on same app. Helix got influencers to hand out dosing advice for them. When that didn't work they simply kept rebranding

came looking for you ghoul when i heard the minimus rule is gone in may! i read the entire thread but still overthinking! sucks because i remember ordering from QSC in 2022 and it was already so much easier at the time that’s 3 years i can’t even imagine after this + more years passing. curious what’s gonna happen to those only buying peptides not any hormones .. i dont take gear anymore but i still love longevity stuff like peptides and indian meds, so im really curious whats gonna happen. thank you so much for all your contributions they do NOT go untouched my friends

They're going to give the new system deployed against Chinese packs 90 days, then meet to decide if it should be expanded to other countries. India was specifically mentioned.

Peptides remain legal for now. and it would take a new law or regulation to change that, a slow process so there would be advance warning.

I am concerned about the door slamming shut unexpectedly on India pharma though, and have been building multi year supplies, with the goal of 5 years+ of essentials. It's already very difficult to get in the EU for instance. It may happen here next.

Luckily most pharma has a very long shelf life, and the blister packs India uses to protect against the southeast Asian climate are perfect for protecting tabs. A Mylar silver bag and refrigeration should, with only a few exceptions, keep them good for a decade or more.
