EU's turn: End of easy Chinese shipping coming. Consider stocking up.

Let's force people to stop ordering cheap Chinese junk and instead redirect them to local shops where they can buy the exact same cheap Chinese junk but at a markup... great job from the EU, as always
Same shit happens everywhere. Lobby enough the politicians and they are going to pass ridiculous things like that. Same thing happened 2 decades ago here but the real guys in charge changed it

@Ghoul ghoul, how accurately dosed do you think the average indian pharma medication is? i use it for it’s price and accessibility, but i was just curious about this. what else is there to say really. like does anyone actually test that stuff out? just wondering, been on it for years at this point.

also heard rumors about there being containments in there but i feel like that would be the fault of the raws not the people pressing them.

who knows tho, i dont see myself ever begging a doctor to prescribe me a bunch of diabetes and blood pressure medication let alone alzheimers medication and prostate medication, especially when you’re coming from a prevention standpoint.

doc here’s my list metformin telmisartan nebivolol memantine clonidine dutasteride like no dude it’s not a grocery store.

i guess shit it’s better than ugl grade but for some reason im still skeptical after all these years.

maybe cause you see tons of $$$ backing the usa pharma and tons of janoshik tests backing the chinese ugl, but still, i’ll take what i can get. in my head it’s usa pharma > indian pharma > chinese ugl but im still learning

I think EU under 150 EUR exemption was looong time ago. I live close to EU and they have been butchering their citizens for any order OUTSIDE of EU.

They literally make your life miserable if you want to order anything outside. Tax rates for that are so freaking high that you regret ordering anything. They do not inspect packages that much but they butcher you with taxes.

I don't know if their inspection is going to change but I think this 2 EUR flat fee is just another way of them making their people miserable. For instance - you order a fckn phone case that cost 70 cents on Temu, they charge you 2 EUR flat fee.

My country also had under 150 EUR exepmtion until recently. There were speculations that ALL packages will be inspected to determine their real value and then taxed.

They literally inspect 10x less packages now. They just tax them, get their money and that's it. They were not getting almost anything so far since most people ordered under 150 EUR and now they get millions because they tax everything. They could care less about what's in the packages.

But that's just how it works in my country. Not sure about EU tho.
