Depend. If i am dealing with a dumb ass it can seem like forever. Reasonable people then time can fly by. Your experience may differ though.

Bro I didn’t got the job at law enforcement, they didn’t told me why , they just said no.
Even tho I passed every singe test they put me through, but they probably found shit in my blood.

Anyway, if it was local law enforcement, just go apply somewhere else. If you really want to get in, go apply to ten different agencies. They do not share their application results with each other.

It is not a normal sort of job, though, and something you have to really want to do . . . which I don't really get the sense from your posting that this is something for which you really felt a calling.

You’re free to apply to other places. When they ask you if you’ve applied to other departments and to list them, simply leave that one off the list. Unless of course you failed for the drug test in which case you’d be in the state’s central drug registry as having failed and would be banned from LE for a certain period of time
