Good on you bro. I have been there, it passes quickly enough. For real, you are not going to feel very good for a few days. If you haven't been using long then probably by day 4 you'll be feeling better, day 5 you will be almost back to normal. Just keep looking into the future, it will be much brighter without that green shit.
Ok so the first week i took it i didnt really “feel” it. And i just got sick. But now i really feel it. Not sure why.

Also when i take a red strain i dont feel anything. reds are not worth it.

When i take a green or white. It feels like a crazy stimulant at 6-10 grams.

Just dont even start if you have an addictive personality,
But if it kratom over something like coke or benzos. Then yes kratom all the way. As it very light on withdrawals, and can take away craving for other harder stuff. Which is a godsend.
A lot of it has to do with dosing. Kratom has opioid receptor agonists, antagonists, and partial-agonists in it. It also affects the adrenergic system (similar to caffeine, which the molecule mitragynine is structurally related to) as well as a few other receptors. It is a crazy substance for sure.

I also agree, if it is choosing between heroin or oxy and kratom, pick kratom. If it is cocaine or amphetamines vs kratom, I say kratom is the way to go. It can be a great tool for weaning off of harder drugs, but a lot of people struggle and end up swapping their old habit out for kratom--which still usually will have a net positive effect given kratom is not as harmful as most of those harder drugs. However, it obviously isn't optimal.

It is definitely best avoided outright by anyone who has had any sort of substance abuse issues in the past.

Have been off kratom for 5 days, but my restless leg has come so badly. I am withdrawing at all but my restless leg is horrible. Its up through my arms. I upped my vitamins but am going to take a low dose kratom today so it stops. Then i have an appointment with doctore so maybe then can temporarily help. This is the worst its ever been.

going to try iron, i tried marijuana, i tried wine, i tried melatonin, i tried so much but it just makes it worse.

i am going to run to see if that helps.

Melatonin will not make your restless legs or arms better it makes it more uncomfortable IME.
I typically don’t get this issue so I can’t help much I don’t necessarily want to recommend a drug to come off a drug but benzos should fix it they always significantly help my restlessness
 
I drink vodka and diet tonic nightly and have no Restless Leg Syndrome. The tonic water contains quinine which anecdotally has helped many but the research is inconclusive. May keep the Rona at bay depending on which side of the fence you’re on concerning hydroxychloroquine, wouldn’t bank on it though. May be worth a try.
 
Gabapentin or pregabalin both work really well for withdrawal-related restless legs. I have found high dose CBD to help (vaped or sublingual, oral CBD bioavailability is poopooz).

I am pretty sure the "quittingkratom" subreddit has a quite comprehensive withdrawal guide. Plus it's a solid support community.
 
I just started Kratom recently(2 weeks ago) during a Tren Cutting Cycle. It really helps a ton and gives me a insane amount of energy when i have a kind of a down time due to calorie restriction and pretty intensive Cardio + normal workouts. At least i see a great performance benefit for workouts when your energy level is reduced. Don't know if it will increase it over normal levels a lot


Also i'm able to deal much better with the tren side effects. Mood improves a ton, i'm getting more communicative even though i was pissed before i used it.

I'm using the Ultimate Wizard House Blend by Mitra Genie Kratom. I have to reduce the frequency after my cycle because i started using it 6 Days a week at 5g a dose due to the very helpful effects

It took away tren sides completely for me also. But be careful
 
Would kratom ruin a fast?
Kratom is almost 100% insoluble fiber, which some sources state to count as 2 calories per gram. There is no official nutritional data for kratom though. However, if you are dosing a couple grams, that is like...6 calories maybe? It's up to you.

As far as muscle growth: yes, kratom would inhibit muscle growth in several ways.

1. Suppression of testosterone production, harming body composition overall as well as libido, etc.

2. Anti-inflammatory effects. Kratom has a ton of active alkaloids in it, many of which have anti-inflammatory effects, some of which are quite strong. It is well documented that the tissue inflammation caused by exercise is partially what signals muscle growth to occur. When this is suppressed, either by NSAIDs or aspirin, it is shown the muscle growth effect to be reduced. No study has been done on this effect of kratom, however in theory it there is no reason to believe it would be any different.

Thus, my conclusion is that yes, kratom also inhibits muscle growth, both mechanically via reduction of inflammation as well as systemically via endocrine suppression.

My personal experience backs that up, too. When I was on kratom, I had legit low T and couldn't build muscle despite working out HARD multiple times per week and eating tons of protein. It just wasn't happening.

Many a designer chemical is legal at first, before being banned. Remember fake weed ? Spice?
I tried OPMs twice. Both times i got very sick nausea and vomiting for 8-12 hours. Never again will I try it. Plus its so much more expensive than the other companies

Which OPMS did you use? Gold , black , silver and which strain?
 
I've been taking kratom for years for back pain and yes it will cause withdrawals but not within a few days.. like anything that binds itself with your opiate receptors , withdrawals are unavoidable. As far as using it for a postcycle therapy I don't see what the benefits would be at all or how it would help or where you got that information from. As far as using it for pre-workout it would be the same as popping a couple like it in before working out, it's going to give you that little bit of a body Rush so I suppose LOL you could use it for a pre-workout but to me personally that just sounds completely counterproductive in the end. I promise you I read every article there is on kratom. At first used it to come off of Vicodin a few years ago and it really helped with those withdrawals but the sidebar to that is that it has its own withdrawal effect so it's kind of a catch-22.. kratom of course is much much less powerful than Vicodin although the withdrawals can get pretty intense if you take too much..
 
Drop your dosage down slightly each day and you will be fine. They'll be some lethargy, but if you drop down to like 2 - 1 or 2 gram dosages in a day, it won't be too bad. (Coming from someone who was up to at least 20g per day split up throughout the day)
Honestly after 4 days you're not going to have any withdrawal fx but as said here you are going to feel some lethargy.. but it's the same if you drink beer for 4 days or did Coke for 4 days LOL you're going to feel crappy.. my best advice personally is after only 4 days of taking kratom I would just not take it and then get a good day sleep or rest and you'll be fine.. tapering at that point is only prolonging it..

Its amazing as preworkout. I can loft much harder.

It enhances the good feelings I'm already feeling. Let it sink in a small portion of water, then drink it, and wash it down with more water (don't like the taste). Sometimes I have coffee with it (as in, after I drink the kratom).

As for performance in the gym? Never. I don't think it works for me while working out.

It probably has been said already. Use it in moderation and sparingly. If you use it too often, you'll end up needing more and more. It's not worth it.

I've finally found a good place and a good strain that works for me in this very way.

Personally, I mix it in with coffee some mornings or in my chamomile tea some nights. At first I couldn't stand the taste so I was using creamer or honey to help along but I've actually developed a taste for it.

Which can be dangerous in the sense you mentioned - needing more to keep that feeling up but I've been doing a two week on then two week off approach and it seems to work for me so far.
 
First time I ever used kratom, I tried it with juice. Didn't help at all. Kratom's taste was overwhelming and I could barely taste the juice. Washing it down with water immediately after I drink it, helps me get rid of the taste. The taste in general isn't terrible, but it's not pleasant either.

I don't know how much I use. Probably 2-3grams. Two times a week or every third day is probably the "sweet spot" for me. Tolerance stays the same this way. Used it every day for a while and I just ended up having to take more. So I just took some time off and everything was fine.
