is my bodyfat for real?

Using the Navy calculator i get 31% Bodyfat which looks like alot?
Im 5'9 3/4 172lbs 32 years old
with a random tape measure I get
Waist 36 ( but I wear 33 or 34 )
Hips 40
Neck 16

I mean 31% sounds fat to me yet im in my surrouding the smalest Man...

I wouldn't worry about fat mass so much as lean mass. Yo shit's upside down.

It means you're priorities are backward.

Put on some muscle, then worry about body fat. As it stands you look like Gumby - square and soft.

Even at 6% body fat, you're going to look the same without any kind of real muscular developement. Skinny fat or skeletal.

Neither are a good look.
 
still not sure how your helping here, 32 year old, my lift #are far beyond any average human beeing whos 5"10 140lbs ( your 6% reference) . and as stated before i have no soft spot on my body XD just blessed with a bubble butt aka why my waist line is out of proportion. its funny ive been the smallest kid on the block my whole life, beeing called square and soft is a funny feelin

You also have absolutely no muscle tone.

The point is, if your aim is aesthetics, you need to put on weight. Not worry about cutting body fat.

If you want to build strength, you need to put on weight. Not worry about cutting body fat.

And no, benching body weight is not far beyond normal. Nor is squatting 65lbs over bodyweight or deadlifting 25lbs over bodyweight.

Unless you gauge normal by lazy sedentary fuck standards.
 
sedantary is normal , i underetand im on the pinicle of bodybuilding forums, but 6'2 190lbs 6%bodyfat squattin 650lbs benching 3x bodyweight and deadlifting is not normal . its top 0.5%
 
i guess my waist is fucked up, most ppl my height who wears 34pants are 200lbs. thats ptretty weird? my mom always said i had a nice butt XD

that beeingg said , fact is im not muscular to the same extent im not a week gumby . im on the path of fixing point A , no need to have a condesendant tone with a newbie it doesnt help and will scare away most snowflakes these days, luckely for me pkaying professional hockey gave me thick skin .. and a thick beer belly i will admit XD
 
Well son, I wasn’t trying to be mean, but we had a wacko here yesterday, and you asking for a body fat percentage at your point is pointless. Dieting is what will drop the pounds.
Find the food thread and follow it.
That’s the best advice your gonna get.
