It kinda surprised me to read the TestC vs TestE debates yesterday. The guys I started this journey with 20 years ago taught me that they are interchangeable. Buy what you can get at the time. Bro science then, but based on esters and research, I tend to agree. The exception being if one ester causes you an issue like the flu or for me, pip with TestE. Why put up with pip if I can just run Cyp?

My 2 cents on what you said above about running a short ester test and switching to a long ester test is this: Why do we inject TestC twice a week? To keep levels stable. How long does it take for TestC to “kick in” at the start of a cycle? A few weeks?

So your running TestP and levels are up and you make a cold turkey switch to a long ester. What happens to your levels?

I have used TestP as a kickstart if I don’t want to run an oral, however I am running Cyp also. I have also switched to TestP at the end of a cycle and pulled my Cyp back to TRT dose if I am seeing the doc for bloodwork. That was back when he wanted me in every 3 months.

I ask a lot of questions on here and always appreciate the advice so hopefully my experience will help at least one person.

Edit: To clarify my above statement. TestC takes “me” 6 weeks before levels are back to TRT range. 5 weeks isn’t long enough for me from experience. TestP takes me 2 weeks.
All I’ve ever ran is short ester. Pp being the longest.
Long esters (c & e) are interchangeable correct?
So I could run it
Prop 1-3 & 11-12
Cyp 1-6
Tpp 6-10

Npp 1-10
Tren a 1-3 & 11-12

Tren e 1-10

It’s almost like a miscellaneous gear party in my muscles.

I think you might be shocked if you took a shot of test c on first week of blast and then drew bloods and see your level compared to base bloods and see the rapid movement up. ( based on a 1shot injection also not front loading just normal dosage of what you would have ran)
I had bloodwork ready to go to get a “baseline” reading almost 2 years ago. My dumb ass didn’t even think and I front loaded about 1000 mg of Cyp and had my blood drawn the next day. Test came back at 1131. That’s when my doctor called me and asked what supplements I might be taking and to bring them in for my next physical. Needless to say, I got a new doctor.

Nothing will happen to your test levels switching. You can integrate test p with the cyp for a transition or when you go to a full one shot dosage with cyp you would be surprised to see how fast that’s in. Remember you already have “test” in your system from the test p. The once the cyp is in the body it starts to break down the Ester and go to work.

Admittedly I have not started a blast and pulled bloods a week in so? I was basing my theory, I will call it, on the half-life of TestP. I suppose a lot of what we do is based on what has worked for us in the past. May not work for others?

For me personally, I am Gyno prone, but don’t want to jump right on an AI if I don’t have to. If I run 200mg Test once a week (for example), I flair up. If I split the dose, I am good to go. This is why I choose a 2x weekly schedule and perceive it as more consistent blood levels.

As many of the others on here have stated, I always value your insight.

I don’t block anyone. lol.
So I deployed the ignore button on a couple of trolls earlier today. Ogres like me don’t like trolls. Trouble is when everyone else is talking about them it’s hard to follow without the context. An occasional rant is one thing. Sometimes it’s funny. But when it comes across as just acting out it gets boring.

EDIT: The trolls get boring, not other MESO members.

Ik I said I was taking a break but let me just say this. I just took 100% of the backlash from something that was 90% you in the first place.
Yes you did and you’re right and for that I’ll say that part was unfair to direct most of it towards you. However let me put it this way. You don’t walk in to a new job or school and act like you’ve been there forever. You walk in humble and earn the respect of the people around you. You my friend are the new guy. You too @Anthony Minerva. So be humble. Be respectful. Earn your place here and I guarantee it will give you more of an education into the world of health body building and aas than any where else.

Agreed, I realize I did my wrong and there is no excuses, I just got too comfortable too quick. At the end of the day I don't care about the fact that I took all the hate, it benefited me more. It's all helping me learn and grow.
