Just make sure you protect yourself. I've seen it quite a few times in my industry with silica. You think no big deal today but chronic exposure adds up. When you get older or retire these guys face serious health issues.

Im sure they told the old timers asbestos was just fine and had no health impact.

unfortantly at the time it came out long term effects were unknown so in a sense it was just fine to use.

i get worried some days when i think of the dust ive been exposed to and the same breath i admit that i hate wearing respirators

16' x 9' 4k videowall. This is as legit as you can get gents. You can see the videowall wrapped in the plastic in the previous post, also notice the floor is now raised. Pretty sweet lol. More to come : )

I hear you. We've never installed a wall like this so we had the manufacturing group come out to show us. Notice the skinny Asians in front of it? Those two guys are ridiculously smart, met one of them at a convention in Florida a few years ago.

The wall is 8 panels high by 8 panels across. Each panel actually breaks down into 4 parts. Each panel is around 6k each! The image it produces is unreal perfect.

Absen. These guys came from the west coast but they are largely based out of Orlando I think.

ofcourse they are asian lol those guys are very smart but i find them socially awkward when ever i interact with them.

it's crazy, right? I'm used to video walls that have a tiny little black line at every seam. This thing has none of that. I'll get a close up pick today or tomorrow.

When I go to a convention I get to meet all of the design engineers and techs that build all of this stuff. They are ALL Asian and they are all very awkward. No doubt about it. They don't socialize unless prompted for a reply, don't kick back at the end of the day and unwind with a cocktail or beer or any of that. The business side of their companies though, the sales staff that's Asian, whoa boy. Watch out now. They'll party all night and into the next day!
