What's your leg press?

My recent best day 820 for 6 considering my shitty knees and fatboy calves.

When I was younger I hit 1050 for 8.

Idk. I think the most i ever did was 800 for like 6-8 but uh....ya know....i just do squats now.
nice...I was trying to hit quads not so much all over. I like doing quads and hammys seperate. With deadlifts MWF, which would be lined up with quads or hammys. Or other words anterior and posterior lifting.

True dat, hell i squat and deadlift 3 times a week so no room for leg press. I never really cared for leg press anyways, all i can ever think about is accidentally hyper extending my leg and snapping it in half :(

Good stuff. 1000 plus must take 3 minutes putting on the weight alone lol.
LOL yeah that is quite a few plates and sure did take a good while to load and that was a workout in itself. I've been pushing that much weight since my late 20s early 30s until I was seriously hurt in an accident.

Well there is time to make up for that.

Ouch...I had that happen and oh yes it was something to never ever do again. Didn't snap anything but strained my patellar tendons. Was hard to walk for almost two weeks one time.

Yea or if your legs give out and it falls on you. But cant think like that. Positive thoughts. I dont squat much. I had tendinitus that I just got over 2 years ago. Squats are added occasionally. Good for you with 3days of squats. I am trying to do that with dealifts but it gets tiring. Do you change intensity up. I found I needed to do that for 3 days of deads.

Deads or squats 3 days sure is no joke...I'm no spring chicken anymore :(

Mondays i do squat bench and deadlifts but they are lower intensity.

Tuesday i take off and do powercleans that day.

Wednesday is my heavy squat day and i do banded deadlifts and stiff leg deads

Thursday is heavy bench day and i do some light front squats

Friday i do another squat day usually the same intensity as monday and then some heavier front squats and heavy deadlifts

I dont do alot of reps each day though. Its set up so the weekly volume is high, but lower daily volume so im not running out of steam halfway through the week

Never really considered leg press a top 3 leg builder
Im doing it now because my program calls for it
But the ROM is very short and not equal to squats or hacks or lunges or bulgarian split squats
Too me its just not a good test of strength
