Drinking vs eating

My appetite has been low lately and I need to up my macros. I usually do 1 shake a day with raw oatmeal, egg whites, banana.
What are your guys thoughts on doing 2-3 a day like this plus 1-2 whey shakes. I won't stop eating solids all together and I can put down few meals of fish, beef, chicken but i can only do sbout 4oz at a time (due to appetite). The carbs are the hardest to get down and I lost all desire to eat eggs for breakfast.

Stats:
5'2"
30 yrs
150
9% bf

Example day:
(Pre workout, shake/blended)
1 cup dry oatmeal
1 banana
3/4 cup egg whites

(Post workout)
1 scoop whey with whole milk

4oz chicken
4oz sweet potatoes

Shake same as pre workout breakfast

4oz beef or fish cup rice

12 oz whole milk
6 tbsp pnut butter
1 scoop whey

Try adding a green smoothie with some hemp protein in it. I like adding kale, avocado, frozen fruit and a a scoop of maltodextrin for a little carb boost.
Gives me some nice energy without feeling to full pre workout.
Save the gainer style whey shakes for post workout and before bed.
Like you I use
1 C raw oats
2 tbls PB
1 banana
1 C orgain almond milk which by the way has more protein per cup than regular dairy milk.

Up them cals and use your imagination..

Yea doing shakes I sometimes do veggies or other things. The question is:
4 liquid meals and only 2 solid meals a day as long as macros are in range work ok?

I understand macros but I don't know much about the chemistry of absorbing and digesting etc
I know most say just get the macros but wondering if anyone has deeper knowledge about liquid meals vs solid
Thanks

I would only drink 3 total a day like I mentioned and eat whole food the rest of the day. In reality as long a your hitting your Macros it really shouldn't matter. Drinking your food and protein will increase the speed of absorption to your body and muscles. It's all personal preference some people just love eating and eating big at that. I personally don't have the time to eat all day.
Though I still am able to get in 600-1000 cals above maintenance every day.
I would suggest you take tupaware around with you. With small little meals in them. I like Brown rice, sweet potatoes, broccoli and protein of choice and eat like 3-4 little containers through out the day and have a nice big dinner.
This is purely an example but the possibility are limitless.

I have plenty of time to eat that's no issue. And I work mostly from home so it's not a meal prep issue.
Just purely appetite problem

If it all works the same I'll continue with 4 shakes a day and 2-3 solid meals

I'm doing three meals and two shakes currently.

I have breakfast around 6:15am ~700 calories
Mid morning shake at 9:30am ~600 calories
Lunch at 11:30am ~1000 calories
Mid afternoon shake at 2:00pm 600 calories
Dinner at 6:30-7:00pm ~1000 calories

Gym days I'll have some quick carbs at 4:00pm before hitting the gym.

My shakes (both of them together) consist of 16oz milk, 9 tablespoons of egg whites, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 cup kale, 1 cup spinach, 1 cup oatmeal, 2 scoops protein powder, 1 banana and 1 apple.

I've been doing two shakes a day for quite some time now and my last cycle I was drinking three plus four meals. Seems to work fine. Just put plenty of real food in them.

Thanks. That's my thought....as long as it's real food going in like the egg whites, fruit, oatmeal, veggies etc, not maltodextrin and whey 3-4 times then I think it's fine
