mild tear in labrum

The doctors did an MRI with dye with a mild tear in the labrum as the prognosis. They recommend I go under the knife but I'm not a fan of that. What I'm leaning toward heavily is running a stack of the following:

BPC 157
TB500
a blend of ipam/modgrf in the a.m.
2 ius of HGH

Any opinions? Thank you.

I really have no experience. I just favor the doctors opinion over trying to fix something with peptides and gh. I think gh would be great for healing from surgery though. I just know when athletes have tears they don't hesitate to go under the knife. Unless they can contribute to the season in someway and can handle the pain. But they have access to the best doctors in the country too. Good luck either way. If you can afford gh I wouldn't mess with the peps.

Thank you bro. The one doctor wanted invasiveness immediately without looking at the mri. The doctor who did the MRI said I "probably" should jus get the surgery. I have a ton of things to do this summer and being in a sling is not an option. The doctor (#2) said I could wait until November. If I perform anything that does not involve a bench press I'm okay. I can squat, I was pitching on softball (glove hand is the injured side) and I can swing a golf club. My thing is that I don't mind throwing $200 additional to the issue to see if it at least keeps me active for the summer.

Well if you can swing a golf club, and like golf. I can see not wanting to wear a sling this summer. Good luck either way.

I have one too. Strengthen rotator cuff and you may be g2g. Depends on location of tear mostly. If u want advice on RC PT hmu. I can't incline bench but OHP, flat bench and especially dips are fine down to 5 rep range. I don't go much lower. Just modify if your not ready for surgery

I was diagnosed with the same thing. Surgery didn't appeal to me as all the stuff that goes with it can take up a lot of time and I already had some atrophy of the infraspinatus. I found ipamorelin to actually help tremendously. After a few weeks on it though I started to notice gyno symptoms which I'm still curious as to why that happened. I would like to pursue intra-articular growth hormone injections as there is medical research that shows that can regrow some cartilage, however this is a very uncommon treatment.

By the way its not exactly like the surgical techniques for this injury are perfect. A labral tear on the pitching arm is pretty much a death sentence for major league pitchers.

It was much worse initially. I couldn't even catch when I was pitching. Now I can do everything. I tried a pushup last week and could feel pain. Ipam should not have gynecomastia symptoms. If I were to bet I'd bet you got ghrp-6. I talked to my doctor. He no linger prescribes hgh because of how expensive it is. He said he actually prefers a blend of various peptides. He also recommends Platelet Rich Plasma Injections for healing but they can be anywhere from $1500-$2100 to get done. The original doctor who ordered the MRI was very exuberant about doing the surgery. The imaging doctor said I should get it because of the subluxation in glenoid cavity where the humerus sits. A friend of mine had similar issues. He benches much more than I do (545 lbs). He had some issues and said the TB500 healed him in 3 weeks and he increased his bench to where it is now. I'm going to go that route but just not allow myself to go any higher than 100 pound dumbbells for reps. I haven't seen as much data on TB500 but the data on BPC 157 is quite abundant. I think Bill Roberts on this site said the 2 are synergistic. I've seen other anecdotal write-ups claiming ghrp-2 and TB500 have a synergistic quality also. I feel combining the 3 should yield some good results.

Huh never heard of tb500. Probably give it a try at some point. I have found the shoulder isn't a huge problem if I just stick to overhead pressing. It can be hard to avoid the temptation to see how much I can bench though.

Don't waste your money none of that will heal your tear. Only surgery will. I tore my labrum couple years ago and was 100% 4 months later. I now just tore labrum in other shoulder and have to go through surgery again which I am waiting till after summer. If your waiting on surgery Atleast 3 months out most specialists will give you a cortisone shot to help.

Surgery and recovery is not that bad if it's a mild tear. Make sure your surgeon specializes in that kind of surgery.

You've tried the compounds I listed?

Everything except bp157. That stuff might help but it's not going to fix the problem. Labrum tears don't heal without surgery they have to to put anchors in your shoulder sew shit back together, clean the shoulder up remove any excess cartilage.

No peptide or hgh is going to do that . Better off just getting a cortisone shot and setting up surgery or just continue to get cortisone shots until your ready for surgery. Cortisone shots just masks the problem though.it actually makes your shoulder and the parts around it weaker . Just a temp fix.

My first surgery I waited a year did 2 cycles and still made decent gains. I just hate knowing I'm not at 100%

Roger. BPC is the most promising as far as healing propensity. The biggest problem is that the original doc theorized it was subscapular. Subscapularis is perfectly fine and the labrum is minor subluxated. What pisses me off is that he original did not order a test on the pec and there is a small divot at the outermost portion. There eas. A minor blemish bear the top of the bicep that extended into a huge bruise days after the injury. The pain occurs almost exclusively when benching and especially performing a fly. The original doc knew all this but again, no MRI on the pec. My aim is to use the peptides and go moderate in the gym, similar to your story, and get another MRI later. My current peptide blend gets rave reviews, some have experienced full healing in the same areas. The thing about the BPC is that there are a ton of peer-reviewed testimonies regarding healing; which I appreciate because we don't get that much in what we do; everything is typically anecdotal. I actually just found something stating there's a possibility TB500 can cause cancer so I want to pit that out there.
