That would be a very very bad idea . . ...

Depends on the person I suppose but I believe that most wont make it or have serious side effects...like....death.

It is unlikely you will die unless mixed with copious amounts of alcohol.

do you think you would die tho?

umm-you didnt by chance fuck up while making some from powder? if you took that by accident-id go vomit. but your thread is like 6 hours old so i guess my advice would be too late. You still alive over there?

from what ive heard of it..you cant OD on it..it doesnt affect breating and heartbeat the way narcotics do

I dunno. I've had a lot of people I know die on Xanax, but it's always mixed with OC's.

I'd have to say that since its action is to relax muscles, your heart would indeed stop beating and your lungs would indeed stop breathing. But maybe not. I wouldn't try it.

You would more than likely die on 100mg of Xanax, from respiratory or heart failure. If combined with alcohol it's almost certain.

The max dose per day is 4mg, though most people are prescribed 1.5mg.

If you didn't die, when you came round you would be in a paradoxically stimulated state and be very aggressive and panicking. I've read these effects lasts for many weeks afterwards, particularly panic and inability to concentrate.

what does this drug do? will it help with butterflys in the stomach when on a cycle? and is there any bad side effects or withdraw symptoms when you stop taking it?

It's an anti anxiety medication. There are side effects like every other drug. Make you sleepy and there are no physical withdrawl side effects only mental.

you would more than likely slip into a coma. This is if you are not used to the meds. Some addicts take anywhere from 2mg/day up to 40-50mg/day taken through out the day and not all at once. Even these extreme addicts could have serious problems if they took 100mg all at once (like a coma) . . .

It would more than likely kill you....and to answer someone elses question....there are sides like dependence. Xanax is an addictive drug.Use it sparingly.

1mg on the night to sleep, twice a week is no problem but not much more and you get withdrawals when you stop.

Wrong. I think your post is the EXACT reason that people should research before listening to people on message boards - because people make shit up that they are clueless about.

I won't accomodate your obvious lack of knowledge of the subject by typing it out, but read the DSM-IV regarding sedative, hypnotic, and anxiolytic withdrawal.

Also, the mental part is the worst part - not the physical.

Nice post N4CER!

Yes You Will Die- If You Did Take Any Xanax Go To Your Nearest Emergency Room- Realize That If You Are Feeling Hopeless Killing Yourself Is A Permentate Solution To A Temp. Problem. Realize That At This Point 17 People Responded To You. Take It Easy And Realize You Can Always Do It Tomorrow. If You Have Not Done It By Now What Are Your Reasons For Living; You Must Have Some? These Reasons Are What Are Truely Important. As For Some Of The Posting- Why Would You Post Info You Have No Idea About- Benzo Withdrawl Is About The Worst And Most Serious Physical Withdrawl A Person Can Experience. A 1x Does Of 100mg Will Not Cause Withdrawl Becuase You Will Not Live To Experience It. But As For Longer Term Use Benzo Withdrawl Can Kill You. Basicaly What Happens In Withdrawl Is The Brain Attempts To Maintain Homostasis But The Drug (in This Case A Benzo Meaning Depressant) Puts The Brain To Sleep. When The Drug Wears Off The Brain In An Attempt To Reach Its Baseline Adds Extra Enegry- If You Will- Making The Brain Over Active B/c It Over Shoots. This Often Leads To A Siezure During Withdrawl And Ultimatley Death.

YOU SHOULD TAKE YOUR OWN ADVICE B/C FROM YOUR POST YOU HAVE NEVER USED THE DSM B/C IF YOU HAD YOU WOULD KNOW IT IS A DIAGNOSTIC TOOL USED FOR THE INCLUSION AND EXCLUSION AND WILL PROVIDE LITTLE HELP ON THIS TOIPIC AS IT MEARLY LISTS CRITERIA. ALSO THE PHYSICAL ASPECT OF THE BENZO WITHDRAWL IS FAR MORE DANGEROUS THAN THE MENTAL ASPECT.
