i know it’s a random question, but would you? - the reason i ask is because years ago i remember reading somewhere that there is a risk of “mad cow disease”, and the price is so cheap compared to the pharmaceutical (indian) one

a risk of “mad cow disease”
Just get it from RUPharma. It’s a Russian prescription drug. Takes about 30 days for deliveryi know it’s a random question, but would you? - the reason i ask is because years ago i remember reading somewhere that there is a risk of “mad cow disease”, and the price is so cheap compared to the pharmaceutical (indian) one
More economical ? Are you sure ? (I dont know the price of cortexin, neither the amount and time needed to be on to get the full effects. But you can get an amp of 10 ml for 10-12$ in India. Also look at Cortexin. A kit can be purchase Domestic from Cosmic Nootropics.
This study found its benefits were similar to Cerobrolysin but a much lower dose makes Cortexin more economical.

This study was the first to compare the neuroprotective activity of Cerebrolysin®, Actovegin® and Cortexin® in rodent models of acute and chronic brain ischemia. The neuroprotective action was evaluated in animals with acute (middle cerebral artery ...pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
“Cortexin® (1 or 3 mg/kg) as well as Cerebrolysin® (538 or 1614 mg/kg) were comparable effective in models acute and chronic brain ischemia in rats.”
I guess that is ... ummhh ... better(?), but does really it mean it is good?It is actually pigs brains not cows.
Does this really imply that Cortexin® is 538x more potent per mg, than pharma grade Cerebrolysin? This study found its benefits were similar to Cerobrolysin but a much lower dose makes Cortexin more economical.

Look at the Cerebrolysin studies. In order to get a therapeutic dose you need to inject a lot. Very high doses. 500-1,600mg a day. Compared to 2mg a day of Cortexin. 10 vials of 10mg Cortexin costs $64. That’s 50 days worth.More economical ? Are you sure ? That’s what that study appears to imply. I purchased both. Russian pharma grade Cerobrolysin. And Russian pharma grade Cortexin. I have yet to test either out.I guess that is ... ummhh ... better(?), but does really it mean it is good?

That would make it the Metribolon among the bran derived nootropics!
Based on that it is actually at least one order of magnitude cheaper than Cerobrolysin, actually more if you assume that almost 3 order of magnitudes higher potency per mg....... 10 vials of 10mg Cortexin costs $64. That’s 50 days worth.
And volume of medication required is much higher for Cerebrolysin.
I would be very curious to hear about your results. Please keep us updated. That’s what that study appears to imply. I purchased both. Russian pharma grade Cerobrolysin. And Russian pharma grade Cortexin. I have yet to test either out.

Exactly, I bought it from SSA hoping to get the real stuff and dont even know how to dose it now. They are not the same compound. Chinese one is cerebroprotein. And its way less effective. Russian or Indian. Thats it.

The recommended dosages of Cortexin and Cerebrolysin don't match up though. That’s what that study appears to imply. I purchased both. Russian pharma grade Cerobrolysin. And Russian pharma grade Cortexin. I have yet to test either out.
