Elevated t3 from igf-1/GH? Help with interpretation of thryoid values.

Soooo i got my lab results back (or to be more accurate the nurse told me through the phone)

  • Free T4 : 0.99 ng/dL (Normal range: 0.8 – 1.8 ng/dL)
  • Free T3 : 5.7 pg/mL (Normal range: 2.0 – 4.4 pg/mL)
  • TSH: 2.13 µIU/mL (Normal range: ~0.4 – 4.0 µIU/mL)

Clearly my t3 is elevated and about 30% over the normal range. She asked me if i take throyid hormones (which i dont) and said i have to speak with the doctor about it.
(Which i dont really have time right now tbh)

Now i read that GH can increase the conversion of t4 into t3.
Right now im experiencing a lot if high igf-1 sympthoms: my hands are swolen for weeks, i get light carpel tunnel syndrom, im snoring up to sleep apnoe level and today i couldt even really squad because my tendons hurt.

(Yes typically you would just reduce your GH dose but im using peptides meaning tesamorelin + Ipamorelin and it took over month to increase the igf-1 which is when the symptoms started. And im going on vaccation in 3 weeks so yeah i thought im keeping it up till then)

So could a high igf-1 level be the reason for the elevation?

And how high is this value really? Meaning, is it a problem?

Im not on any other compound than that.

So ans concerns with these levels (heart, catabolism, etc.?)

I should also mention that i did the bloodwork like 3-4 weeks ago so since them it could have gotten worse? Or at least my igf-1 symptoms didnt really that much get better.

What does gh were you using and how recent before the blood drawing did you dose?

Thank you for posting and showing gh does elevate t3

If it's not a reoccurring theme or trend next time and the next time with lab results I wouldn't worry about it

Just say you were dieting hard , felt sluggish, ate a lot of carbs the night before and that caused t3 to increase

Next time before a thyroid test don't use gh before the test. I'm guessing a day or two ?

Does anyone know if their are any lab reports from someone who was in t3 and gh?

I was actually using Tesamorelin with Ipamorelin.

However its seems like im a hyperresponder to it. I didnt even have those sideeffects with 6IU HGH. So i read a bit into the stidys with tesamorelin and some people get put into a igf-1 range far beyond 3 SD. Some people wont even achieve this with 8IU HGH.

Sadly i dient do blood before that because well.... I didnt expect it to raise.my t3!!! I actually did blood work.because i was worried that my t3 is to low!!!

Its funny you posted this. I just got my bloods this morning and for thr 1st time i'm also seeing an increase in T3. Not significant just very slightly out of range. My T4 is in range just on the lower side of it.

I do know gh converts a big some of t4 to t3. Also i had injected my morning 5iu blous 1 hr b4 the blood work. Curious on thoughts

Provided your gh is ninety percent or higher quality, which from word is , is that gh purity seems to usually be okay ,I've had issues with some over the years Getting cloudy as in kits worth, most vials in a kit but I dropped them

DOes gh effect T4 levels?

Does T4 converts to t3 , with gh, causing t3 to increase ?

I think the above is fact but thought I'd make sure

Is this considered reverse t3?

Not sure if one hour is enough for the whole process of the conversation to be one hundred percent complete, but from what I know of gh , I'm thinking more than likely

If it's quality 5 it's raising t3 slightly , 2.5 is what I use and would possibly post suspect it's not doing much to mine and without labs ,it's a guess

Everything looks ideal, t3 imo is the main one your looking for for increased fat burning
