So been feeling worn out and decided it was time to up the calories. Aye extra cals on training days for now. Bench is back to feeling good already. Left hip adductor hurts now, in spite of my right hip pain being almost totally gone. Left shoulder is hurting again even though my mobility has improved a bunch there, got an appointment with the PT Lady tomorrow. Life is getting hectic, got a night class I’m working on finishing and work is getting busy. Makes it difficult to get to these appointments after work. Having a garage gym is a beautiful thing

Got off work late so was a short session. Tried Sumo and it was awful, hip flexor, adductor and glute were hurting. Conventional was blah, the weights moved but my left hip was hurting. So the PT got most of the prworked out of the Right side lower body but for the past couple weeks this shit is starting to get on the left side now. Can’t win here,lol

Well in-spite of eating my weight in chips and sandwiches yesterday and not doing fuck all today I’m feeling wiped. Didn’t sleep much last night. Baby was up constantly, had to work today about 10 hours but was one of the easiest days I had in years. Squats were feeling good sleeved. When I jumped up to the wrapping sets they weren’t so hot. Self wrapping since my coach is out of town . Also hit 2 bench PR’s and tied another last Sunday. Got some solid work on deads on Thursday too so it’s probably just catching up to me. Almost like I’m in a fucking meet prep or something.

Feeling pretty beat up from training especially last week. Hip hurts knees hurt, shoulder hurts. So some what of Deload here. Keeping bench frequency in there but drop weights down significantly. Every thing else was pretty easy. Looking to maybe sand bag on deads and bench this week to save a 3 Rm on deads for next week.

Deads were a bit grindy. Probably switching to singles next week, see what coach says. Haven’t been able to sumo, left hip/glute pain is lingering but somewhat better. Heavy bench tomorrow. Did some re structure there , want to wave the heavy bench singles to shoot for a PR every 3 to 4 weeks and aim for a rep Pr on the between weeks. Last week I tied a rep Pr on 8’s, hit a new 5 rep Pr and a 1 rep PR. All in a 5 day span. Then couldn’t complete my 3x8 on Sunday due to Tricep fatigue, lol.

Squats and bench both moving well. Skipping auxiliary squats and avoiding Sumo deadlift helped my hips feel better. Got some more rest the last few days. Good session.

Bench feeling good, went for a rep Pr. Probably had another rep or 2. Shoot a little higher next week. Been having trouble with blood pressure this blast. I’ve in the past struggled with it even on trt. Had it under control with regular otc supps . Was 12x/8x. It’s crept up to 140x/9x. So I dropped down to 400/150 test and deca. The amount of Caffeine I intake during a meet prep does not help either , lol.Maybe time to get some telimisartan for my next blast. I’m gona need it if I do USPA North American’s.

Pretty fatigued from Deads yesterday. First time over 550 since the last meet in March. Also been keeping carbs and junk pretty low because of blood pressure. 347 wasn’t there on bench. 341 probably was, bad call on my part. Missed at the transition about 6” off the chest. It’s where I normally miss. Need to get my bp under control so I can bump calories a bit. Training getting demanding at this point. 4 weeks out, shits getting challenging.

Coach is back so had him wrapping my knees. Squats moved way better. He wants to make a bigger jump on the top single next week since it moved so fast. Definitely a bear getting depth with how tight he wraps me so we may be at the point of adding weight to get depth soon. Depth is there but I slow down quite a bit in the hole. Bench felt ok, been eating more the past few days. Need to make a point to get more sleep.

Was discussing this with my coach the other day. Bench is kinda funky with me. I’ve been making solid progress with the rep work and the singles have been trash. When singles move good the rep work doesn’t. Based on the 5’s I’d say open at 319, go 330-341 2nd and 352-363 3rd. I still have a few more weeks to gauge and sort it out.
