sc redneck said:Whats up KZ,, your boy Ronald SR was the first on NAFTA,, When Clinton left office there were eight countries in NAFTA,, there are now THIRTY EIGHT COUNTRIES IN NAFTA,, Clinton fought to keep Mexican trucks out of the U.S but what did Bush do,, you got it,, let them in. Bush stood before the country and said outsourcing is a good thing, and then gives tax breaks to companies that do. As far as manufacturing there were alot more jobs when Clinton was in office. My company has cut almost 50% of the work force and production with in the last four years.. just read the headlines about imports bro,, this is not a good thing. FUCK NAFTA,, AND GORE.
I think it was one of Bush's cabinet members who spoke positive things about outsourcing. And when you really look at it, outsourcing is great from the consumer standpoint because they save money and that is all they care about!!!
Everyone preaches "buy american" because it sounds really nice and fluffy, but at the end of the day all they care about is their pocketbook. Companies are FORCED to go overseas because their customers DEMAND the lowest price on the planet.
And all it takes is for one company to outsource or buy foreign materials and all of that company's competitors must follow suit....or they are out of business!!
Why do you think Wal Mart is now the largest retailer in the world?? Because they are the cheapest. Why?? Because they outsource everything and low ball their vendors. Why?? Because they are the world's largest retailer and can do so. Why?? Because their customers love them for it.
