I used to like ON but they got overpriced, and I often wonder if the quality is that much different than vitamin Shoppe. In terms of effectiveness I mean.
Sickening, and it's just fucking protein!! The supplement industry makes me sick to my stomach sometimes, no need to put it that high.Yeah ridiculously expensive. I haven't bought protein for a while since I'm just getting back into lifting but I checked some prices and its as high as $80 on Amazon. I might be looking for aa replacement soon if there's anything else out there naturally sweetened.
You'd be better off buying just buying the cow and making your own, lol.Sickening, and it's just fucking protein!! The supplement industry makes me sick to my stomach sometimes, no need to put it that high.

Im not going to go into details about how I know but walmart is ruthless when it comes to dealing with their suppliers of goods. They start out paying a certain price and sell lots of product for these companies and then a year or two later walmart comes back and tells them that they want to buy this product for up to 50% less than the original sales price or they will not continue to sell the companies product. Meanwhile the company in question has invested millions of dollars into their processes and expansion to meet those large quantity demands that Walmart asks for so they agree to the new price but the only way to meet that new number is to cut corners on supplies and quality. For instance I have friends in high positions at wrigleys mfg and walmart will place an order for say 12 million packs of gum and then 8 months later they have a conference with the powers that be at wrigleys that they will be returning 6 million packs of gum at full refund price an there isn't a damn thing wrigleys can do about except take the product back and destroy it because it cannot be resold. I don't agree with companies that start skimping on ingredients but it's the logical end result when you make a deal with the devil in Walmart. And then when it's found out that labels aren't entirely correct or truthful walmart starts this bullshit appearance of concern over these issues when they are the people who foster this behavior among their suppliers. In short FUCK WALMART!I read some bad stuff about the Walmart protein, that it had fillers and was not meeting numbers on packages. The Arnold line too? I wonder if its just the Walmart brand Arnold line. They buy the packaging and have 8 year olds in a factory in China or some shop filling em with some shit that isn't on the label. Someone posted it up here on Meso, I lurk more than I post. Back to my protein and need for shakes. I have soy protein allergy, not all soy, but soy protein so lechein is ok but it does rule out half of vitamin shoppe. I also need a lean protein, as I am trying to cut weight. I was getting Promasil from GNC for $20-25 bucks a 2 lb tub. The guy there was actually cool, and pointed out any that were within months of expiration (2 or three was limit) and when that happened it was 50%off so like $10-12 bucks. I got quit a few like that, and was pretty f'n siked. For some reason they stopped carrying it, so I found one at Walgreens that to me looks like Promasil and may justbe from the same supplier as the Promasil (?) called Body Logics Natural protein. Both are around 100 calories a scoop, and I have recently started making shakes with kale, carrot, celery, peanut butter or pb2, skim milk or almond milk, 1 scoop protein, 1 banana and ice. I do this for breakfast and post work out, sometime 1 cup non fat yogert fruit n yogert in am with it. Anyway, feel better finally getting vegetables which I never eat otherwise and am down 12 lbs in less then a month. I started counting calories, and this would never be possible without the shakes. I love food, and I love milkshakes and these actually taste good!
