What’s your sleep stack?

yes they’re both antipsychotics but (at least where i am) are often prescribed off label at lower doses to treat insomnia.

mirtazapine- 30mg (doc warned me higher than might have opposite effect)

seroquel - technically it’s 25mg, but as it’s a PRN, some nights i take 50mg, sometimes 25mg, most of the time none at all. i honestly only use it as my last resort bc im scared of the sleep snacking lol.

it’s gonna sound stupid but another thing you could try is a 3d sleep mask. i got the one from manta sleep because i was waking up in the night & traditional sleep masks don’t block out all of the light.

Gpt says 7,5mg - 15mg mirtazapine and 12-25 seroquel will help, it lists mirtazapine as a better profile for side effects. Seroquel is a little tougher on sides (orthostatic hypotension, insulin resistance etc).

I don't know, thinking to resort on something like this at least couple days a week because if i keep sleeping like shit and train hard it won't do any justice.

I have a mask but not using it currently because room is pitch black. Obviously cold temps and using earplugs.

I always used to have issues with sleep until my shrink put me on Mirtazapine & Seroquel. would highly recommend those.

I also used to take zopiclone as needed, but i don’t recommend it because you can become dependent on it.

also, if you want to go the natural route, don’t overdo the melatonin. allegedly if you take to much it cancels out or something of the sorts
Seroquel is heavy duty, and will leave most people so hungover the next day, it can also cause lactating nipples in men , user beware

Yeah I just spoke with the doctor and told him about those 2 drugs and basically told me to avoid seroquel at all costs. He said better take a quarter of Xanax. Mirtazapine in low dose though, he was fine with it.

ask gbt about zopiclone, it may be easier to get. just don’t take it every night, or you won’t be able to sleep w/o

Trazodone + Magnesium (chloride or taurate) + Melatonin
If needed add some : Lemon balm or Chamoumille or Mulungu

1G Magnesiumbisglycinate, 25mg Zinc, P5P 5mg, 1x 5HTP + 2mg Melatonin - I have a short but efficient and well resting sleep cycle

I just take a blended drink powder supplement but I usually always prefer things over others inside like valerian root, I don’t like melatonin to be too high, GABA, L-Dopa or Mucuna is nice as a dopamine precursor especially on cycle with progestogenic drugs, 5-HTP those are the man things I like myself.

Dont use melatonin or ashwaganda as they can fuck with thyroid and I have Hashimotos.

I use:

Zinc
Magnesium Glycinate
B6
Glycine
L Theanine

Then 5 days a week i take Tryptophan and 2 days a week i take 5HTP

-6mg melantonin TIME RELEASE!!!(Very important)

-GABA 1500-3000mg

- Magnesiumbisglycinat
(i also tried magnesium threonate because there is actually a study proving it crossing the bloodbrain barrier, which we dont have for Bisglycinat because it simply was never tested however i didnt notice any difference besides in my wallet, i even liked the Bis better, which many people report. Take it right before turning off the lights for deeper sleep)

And now my BEST ADVISE and i SWEAR ON IT:

-3.0 Hz. Delta Waves!
Im using this one:

Thats about the frequency of your EEG waves during deep sleep. (0.5-4.0HZ)

First of all you fall faster asleep because you are conditioning yourself if you only play it when you are going to bed. And my sleep really improved, i have the feeling i sleep deeper.

Weirdly enough i dream a lot more on it! I havent dreamed for years before i started using this about 1 year ago.

You could also try Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide

I was sitting on my bed one night listening to binaural beats and slipped into an out of body experience
