Yes I do Desi. Granted, they didn't use as much as Ronnie, but Lou Ferrigno, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Vince McMahon, Ric Flair, Vince Taylor and many, many others are all over 50 and STILL using. I'm pretty sure Flair is over 60. I'm not worried about Ronnie's longevity.

But the guys you listed didnt chemically put their bodies in jeopardy for many many years with super-high doses of various compounds. Plus, those guys didnt really diet either, so use of t-3, dnp, etc probably werent an issue. They were physically beat up from their profession and most of them suffer from that. Dieting to competitive levels these days can take a major toll on a persons health. Will Ronnie make it to 60? Probably. But in that time I would hope that he'd drastically reduce his usage and bodyweight, similar to what Dorian has done.

Cont....

crewboss, thanks for catching that for me. LOL, maybe there is a place for me in bodybuilding, hell my spelling sucks. Thanks bro.

so bob, which side of the fence r u on? r u betting with desi or grizz or taking the easy way out lol.

I too don't think he'll live more than 15 years, especially after last year's olymia's preparation. Grizz, you can't compare what he's using to what those guys are using, i mean, look at him, he's not even human anymore.

I can just about guarantee he'll make 15, barring a freak bus accident. What about people like Don Youngblood or Vince Taylor. They've been(particularly Taylor) pros for decades. Actually, I don't know about Youngblood, but Taylor has. Both 55ish and both still using professional amounts of juice. I mean, have you seen some of the masters comptetitors? They made it, I don't see why Ronnie can't.

Also, how about this scenario. I don't know what they use, but for arguments sake, let's say the typical pro drug intake is 3g test/wk, 1g EQ/wk, whatever amount GH and some dbol or drol/ ed.

Is it necessary that Ronnie doubles this? No. For all of our lip service to the wonder of genetics, everyone is quick to accuse huge fuckers of using more drugs than everyone else. Isn't it quite possible that all the pros use very similar amounts of drugs, but Ronnie's genetics are such that he can look much better than the others? Arnold absolutely blew away the competition, but I'd bet it was more due to genetics than him taking more drugs than the others.

Ronnie didnt compete at 20-40 pounds more than his previous heaviest (2001-02) simply because of "genetics."

Whether BBing really is a sport or not is certainly up for lively debate.

As for comparing their income to pros in normal sports, the difference is easy. On the low end, you have the NHL. Highest paid player gets something like $8 mil. On the high end you have A-rod at damn near $20 mil.

Bob Smith you are very wrong. ARod signed a $252 million 10 year deal. So he makes $25.2 million per year from the Rangers. Plus on top of that he makes several million dollars more per year on endorsement. Anyone that goes into BBing with dreams of becoming rich is fucking stupid as hell.

Are you saying Im very wrong just because I guessed at A-Rods salary and missed by $5 mil? Seriously, big fucking deal when its still $20+ mil. I dont like or watch baseball so I didnt have the exact number. Ill be sure to check with at least 2 sources the next time I guess at something. ITS STILL A LOT OF FUCKING MONEY! Either way, Im sure he would give up $5mil a year (which he wanted to) just to change teams from one that didnt suck! He got the money and no chance to win the World Series.

LOL Settle down there buddy. :D Yeah to me $5.2 million is a lot of money. I would rather make $25.2 million per year than $20 million. LOL I am not sure if I could ever spend that much money though.

Id rather make $20 mil with the Yankees (very high chance of World Series) than $25+ mil with a team that sucks and has no chance of winning.

i hope he never gets out of texas and is forever a LOSER :)

Well he is a loser that makes $25.2 million per year. I wish I was that big of a loser!! :D

Id rather have some pride, too. Plus, Im sure he has some good investment advisors that could help make up the difference.

And DBP, you already are that much of a loser! :D jk bro. lol

Hey BS, that was really mean. Just because I am a loser does not mean you have to pick on me. FYI Jewel just emailed me five minutes ago and told me she is breaking up with you and wants to start dating me. She mentioned my intelligence, my extreme good looks, and the fact I am a huge Cowboys fan, not to mention the fact I am hung like a second grade boy.

Less money, but on a winning team makes for easier endorsement deals. At least, it seems like it should be that way. Plus, don't they get huge bonuses and ridiculously expensive rings for winning the World Series? Or is that only in collision sports where you actually put your body on the line? :)

Well guess what? U guys r talkin about the extremely elite level of pro bodybuilders.I know of a local IFBB pro named Paul *****.He is a very nice guy and close to 300 lbs.He last competed in the NOC but didnt do well in 2002 and took the year off.He has personally told me that he is broke and simply works as a personal trainer and at night he works as a bouncer at a local nightclub called the Voodoo Lounge.Dont believe me? The voodoo lounge is in fort lauderdale,FL and paul does not have any supplement contracts.Only the best make it in this sport. If you have just a bachelors(in any field) youll make more money than most pros make.I feel bad for the guys who give up college and their jobs and move to venice beach to see if they can become a pro or not.

Hell be lucky maing 100$ a night at voodoo....BTW where in ft lauderdale are you from? i live there also.

very good point but at least he is an unhappy loser now at least during the season. i am sure his 3 month vacations wondering what to do with all of his money helps ease the pain
