Me: Male 40, 173 cm, 80 kg (~16% BF). Train 3–4×/wk (1h lifting + 1h cardio).
Meds: retatrutide 5 mg weekly, tadalafil 10 mg PRN.

Felt perfect on old protocol (Mon/Wed/Sat):

  • Test ~90 mg each day (~270 mg/wk)
  • Masteron prop ~40 mg each (~120 mg/wk)
Current protocol (last month, when problems started):

  • Wed & Sat: Test 180 mg each (~360 mg/wk)
  • Primo 20 mg each (~40 mg/wk)

Symptoms: past month = morning wood gone, libido down.

Labs (drawn ~1 day after a shot):

  • Total T: > lab upper limit
  • Free T: > lab upper limit
  • SHBG: 18.2 (low)
  • Estradiol (E2): 72.3 pg/mL (ECLIA)
  • Prolactin: 33.2 ng/mL (high)
  • Hct/Hb: 51.9% / 17.6

I'm going with Prolactin for $500 Bob!

How can I bring it down?
i've heard people use Cabergoline or Raloxifene , and im sure theres some others people might chime in from past experiences, ive never had a prolactin issue before, but i keep Ralox in my box of "what ifs",

Care to share with the class the other benefits?

I haven't done much research myself
better mood regulation, reduced irritability, improved cognitive function, supports blood sugar regulation, for instance it helps gluconeeogenesis and glycogen breakdown, thats just a few , it also can help females with pms issues by supporting "hormone-sensitive pathways". it's a good supplement , i take 100 mg daily, though the "recommended dose" can be 10-50 mg daily

It also supports Glutathione production, Cysteine produced via P5p dependent pathway is a precursor for Glutathione, a major antioxidant, helpful in kidney tissue by preventing oxidative damage and inflammation that can contribute to CKD

Heres what my robot says

never had a prolactin issue but I remember reading somewhere that p5p stresses the liver a lot,
i would be curious to see that "reading" about liver stress and P5p , seeing how P5p active form of vitamin B6 , so it does not require conversion in the liver, plus the kidneys handle most of the elimination, NOT the liver.

EVERYONE who is reading this and that i would consider the source, theres to many kidney and liver information thats clinical and proven and legit, "i read somewhere if you do 100 mg testosterone a week you'll get BUFF" , see what i mean , its BS , alot of Research people , Know what your taking from 1st hand knowledge as well as supporting bloodwork, And read- Alot , to get an understanding, then apply it. i hope my little Rant made sense, Have a Grateful Day!
