What happened to SARMs?

Hi,

A few years ago when I started on PEDs there was a lot of hype around SARMs. Like if they were a miracle.
Now nobody talks about them.
Were they just a passing fad?
Has anyone tried them and can comment on their experience?

I keep things very simple when it comes to PEDs, small doses of test and AI have done it for me so far and probably will be the only thing I ever touch, but just curious to learn about first hand experiences.
I suppose if they provide anabolism with minimal side effects (lipids, hematocrit, liver values...) there would be a point to add something to a test cycle.

Passing fad. Yk11 is the only one that remains that shows any promise due to it's theoretical myostatin inhibition. The injectable version is more popular than the oral. A typical usage would be to inject bilateral body parts with 5-15mg to get a ridiculous pump in the gym. It's been compared to superdrol but with less liver damage. I have no personal experience, just going off what I've read and this video:

Most everything written about sarms that was all positive and comparing them to traditional anabolics without the negative side effects, was written by the same people trying to sell the sarms. I myself dabbled in it a little i will admit but true; only one i got anything out of was YK, and that was just a little strength boost. Not worth the money at all.

Overpriced junk that rode the coattails of OG “prohoromones”, that people could sell “legally” and exploit 18-22 year olds so they didn’t need to inject themselves. Companies on social media will market them well and then sell a 500 dollar stack that does less than a $40 dollar bottle of test lol I tried Ostarine years ago and all it did was crush my lipids. No noticeable gains at all in 3 months.

I started researching about PEDs around 2021, and read a lot of stuff, more official and less official.

I remember thinking that all the promises and the people telling their experiences sounded too good to be true.

Started on test on 2022 and other than having a difficult time managing estrogen, I think it was the right way to go.

People expect steroid type gains so they dose it 10x that of clinical trials and at those dosages it loses specificity. So you are better off just using actual steroids.

I think they could be useful for people who don't want to blast and cruise or are concerned with fertility issues. Seems like you could run a low dose instead of cruising and still get a minor anabolic effect.

But really I think it was just for people too afraid to pin or those who just wanted buy something from their supp store or from an online vendor. Ease of purchase and use was probably the primary appeal despite being underwhelming in every other aspect.

I still have 100 YK-11 tabs I bought last year when I didn't know any better. How liver toxic is that? Seems like something worth trying but only at the right time. Right now I'm a DHB cycle so mixing the two sounds like a bad idea. Maybe this spring after cycle and a chill cruise.

Take care of your stomach while on oral YK-11. I think i posted the warning once before, I personally know a few people who got stomach bleeds (two of them pretty gnarly, including the throwing up because of congealed blood part) from higher dosed YK11 orals. Those two guys were REALLY abusing it tho. Months of use at high doses.

Maybe try some of those stomach coating medications they give you while on harsh oral medications, just to be on the safer side.
