Vitamin D, was something told may help with wintertike and lack of sun. So i went to purchase but i usually google/research dosing etc…stummbled upon dosig, and that it needs all these other vitamins to make it absorb and be used properly,

Does anyone know best way vitamin D, is taken? Since it needs K and the K needs magnesium…

So what i gathered… vitamin D needs, K2, for grabbing it from bones vs blood, and k2 needs magnesium to help produce and utilize… is there anything else? Is it just K2? Not any other K variants?

Side note-most annoying aspects of vitamins, i go to buy one and it needs 4 more added on.

Everything works synergistically in the body. Nothing is a one off. Everything in the proportions that are needed for optimal results. The body works the way it thinks is best not the way we want. The body doesn't care how much you put in it only uses what it thinks is best. My Dr. recommends 5000 iu a day. When i was taking 1400 iu's and getting out in the sun my blood tests showed i was in the bottom 10% of the normal range. which is far from the healthy range it seems. Now to irritate you more seems that magnesium is also needed for optimal absorption, along with i assume many other things
As vit D is fat soluble so consuming with a fatty meal adds in absorption it seems.

Buy 5000iu/100mcg and take 2 or 10,000iu/200mcg and take 1 daily during winter months. Preferably the gels with MCT or something similar. Should be able to get away with 5000iu less frequently when you’re getting decent sun exposure.
