Trouble with meals at work

Been working a lot on night shift in bfe. Any one have anything good to take on the go that is easy to make and preferably good cold lol. Also I am trying to cut

I usually just rough it man. Chicken/steak brown rice and some sort of vegetable. Everything sort of sucks cold but some good dipping sauce helps. I get low fat blue cheese and mix some hotsauce in and that helps mask the taste of cold chicken lol

How long can chicken go while covered before it goes bad. I work 530 pm to 530 am and don't usually eat till early am hours

I mean as long as it's not too warm it should stay awhile, but if it's going to be sitting a long time just invest in a couple ice packs.

I have some of those and i just set my food on top of them in a plastic bag and it stays cold. Or even better yet get yourself a decent little lunchbox and toss some ice packs in there, will stay insulated and cold for hours.

It would be worth it, up untill recently i have worked at a place where i was able to keep my stuff refrigerated but i just started a new gig so I'm definitely gonna pick up some sort of cooler

I used to work 24-36 hour shifts basically living out of an ambulance.
That fucking sucked..
Chicken and rice was a go-to.
I really liked the protein bars though just find one or two your really like and eat those in between meals.
A combo of a good breakfast before work, meal preps, bars, and a shake preworkout I could usually hit pretty close to my goals but I wasn't as commited to lifting/dieting back then.

Tuna salad. Bunch of ways to make it.

You can add rice or a protein blend to it. Mustard instead of Mayo if you're cutting, olive oil, hard boiled eggs, etc.

Can take some shakes along to supplement.

I've been on a raw egg whites kick lately... Hard to beat them. They go down easier than a shake for me.

If you're looking for a good cooler, the rtic soft packs are awesome. On sale now for $67. They'll keep stuff cold for over 12 hours easy. I have 2 of the rtic 20's. A good size for a few meals worth of containers.

Lmao I wish that was me. But I'm allergic to every nut you could think of so a lot of protein bars are out of the question

I also work out in bfe a lot and it got to where the chicken I prepped was either dry af or it didn't taste good (maybe I'm cooking it wrong?) what I did find I liked and I didn't mind cold was salmon.
