Magazines will be easier to find and cheeper for the Springfield. I'm not a huge fan of DRYea, I like the look of both guns but it’s damn near impossible to find the Magnum research 1911 .45 in stainless, so I’m most likely going to go with the Springfield. It’s a Xmas present for my son, trying to get Xmas wrapped up early this year, hate stressing over that shit as it’s gets closer
Unfortunately, this is the case, as in many countries the situation is similar and this is bad. As for me.Surprised no one is talking about how they basically banned guns in Canada.View attachment 174622
Thanks, I’ve heard that some of the magnum research 1911’s also have feed problemsMagazines will be easier to find and cheeper for the Springfield. I'm not a huge fan of DR
I hate that Magnum Research got bought out and started making 1911s. The real company was popular for their 50 calibur Desert Eagles Baby desert eagles . ..and then when they sold to usa kahr Firearms they started slapping the Desert Eagle across a subpar 1911 made in usa. If you still want one of the Desert Eagles or Baby Desert Eagles made in the Valley of the guns you can still get the IWI Guns made in isreal. Thanks, I’ve heard that some of the magnum research 1911’s also have feed problems
I second this. I have had so much fun and learned more than I ever thought I could taking several handgun and rifle courses at a local gun school near me. The guy even does simulated stress training and all kinds of home defense stuff. I had him come over (we've become friends) and critique our plans.I have a suggestion, go pay a professional trainer for a basic pistol class.
You will learn so much that it is difficult for me to describe in a post. It is worth a couple hundred bucks, please just trust me on that. You will wonder why you did not do it sooner.

I'm not sure if the cameras will be such a factor, although I could be wrong. You gave them the benefit of the doubt but it does sound like it would be unusual for them to be where they were, from your description.
Have you thought about setting up security cameras? They are a deterrent.
Shooting courses are generally a very cool topic. When I first got there, I was really happy. It is very exciting.I second this. Yeah they're a GREAT place to learn and be able to practice all the things you need. Drawing from holster, reloading, moving from cover to cover. shooting from cover, target acquisition, speed to shoot multiple targets, etc. I can't recommend them enough. Also you'll almost always meet people with way more experience you can give you pointers at minimum, you may very likely meet some instructors or people you can take classes with too!Shooting courses are generally a very cool topic. I have cameras. The flood lights are a night deterrent. The cameras are surely a deterrent during the day or if a bad guy were to see them. I've got them on the ceilings above my doors outside. They're white, so highly visible.I'm not sure if the cameras will be such a factor, although I could be wrong.
It is important to attend such courses and training.Yeah they're a GREAT place to learn and be able to practice all the things you need.
