This is where I'm guessing an individual's genes can come into play. We have one person saying nothing puts on size like MENT and another saying they're all pretty close but with different side effect profiles. I've never tried MENT so I can't say how it is for me but the more I've played around with different compounds I do think you find the one (or a few) with the least side effects for you if you want to grow long term and just keep plugging away at it. Consistency over time will get you there. I would ask Type-IIx but if you've seen his ment unique effects article you already know he thinks it has no place in bodybuilding
