Any recommendations on where to focus on training wise for more distance from swing in softball/ baseball? I'm guessing just overall strength training, I think most of the power comes from the hips. Just wondering if anyone has any idea what baseball players focus on in the off season. Thanks!
 
I don't know for sure, but it seems to me that explosive power is important here, such as athletes who throw a hammer or a discus in athletics. The shoulder girdle with the top of the back must be developed and, of course, the legs, the overall power of the work will depend on their work.
