It is all individual basis i have chinese suppliers i really trust and ones I don't. Most of the Indian companies are straight up scammers but I have one that refunded me 10k bucks because they had a couple seizures and he was afraid my product would get seized even though they have no reship policy and it would have been on me. Just like we have UGLs that build cleanrooms in their home and run sterility and pyrogen testing on every batch like a GMP facility and we have dudes that test nothing and fill unsterilized vials in their dirty kitchen with no gloves on. Integrity is hit or miss bro.

100% iv spent so much in equipment in the long run that thats in the long run where my profits are but to know i wont kill or hurt anyone is a nice insurance. one bad death on my part and my life is over.

of course i would 95% is great dont waste your time unless its 90% pure thers a point where doing more is a waste now if you confirm these raws are weird and looking off id do it anyways. the more you have the better off you are doing it in mass. if i had raws 96% pure id consider it "good enough" it really depends on how much you have to lose or gain here. thats not to say i dont personally do better when i can because i do its my name after all. clear pharma. but 95% pure jano on raws you tested is good. over dose by 6% call it good. you will be within 8% on target which is still better than pharma. what people really want to see is your gcms and see if your oil is clean. as long as your better than pharma you wont have issues. im always always within 5% or better but thats just me and my standards . my recent purification was within 4% and the raws was ASS starting out. i call that a

I was happy with the way the raws looked. Snow white brick and chunks. Slight waxy feel. Dissolved easily between fingers. I appreciate your continued share of expertise man.

Personal opinion is not to bother.
1) not worth the time
2) not easy to do for test D
3) there's no UGL lab that can test if the solvent used is actually removed from the compound

I did do it out of curiosity since i received some crappy Tren from AASRaws I did not plan on using.

Insanely strong chemical smell, clumpy, looked like fiber..probably soaked with chemicals..sigh

Solvents are the least of your worries and extremely easy ro remove.

Gravimetric drying after weigh a sample of the finished completely dry material and put that in a desicator or lab oven spread out at like 40°C and give it a day then reweigh the sample not a shitty 15 dollar scale you need a real 0.001 balance. If it lost weight you still have moisture present

This test holds no weight simply because it's not an apples to apples comparison. You are talking about raws.

Raws hplc gcms pre and post, same lab.

Solvents are the least of your worries and extremely easy ro remove.

Iv said this from the start when I started this thread under scholar of brew. The solvents is the least of anyone's worries they are so easy to remove when using the right equipment. I got a lot of criticism in the past claiming fear-mongering that solvents were just going to stay in your raws even if you tried your hardest to remove them

I mean I get it but at the same time these solvents we use have a much lower boiling point than water lol. Acetone. Ethanol. These things are so easy to extract with a little bit of vacuuming. They don't just get trapped and stay stuck. Agitate vacuum rinse and repeat even overkill it 5 hours into a vacuum with a little bit of heat. Perfect solvent extraction.

Recrystallization is the last step in synthesis to clean up the final product if the raws are only 85% ypu really think worse solvents would already be present? They evaporate extremely easy its the co-soluble junk that stays behind.

As said by others surface solvents are easy to remove via vacuum and mild heat. But solvent/impurities can and will get trapped in the lattice and amorphous regions if crystals rapid form. This is why we are recrystallizing in the first place. Its the shit that gets trapped behind from yield being more important than quality. Just did recryst on some of the shit TC from AASraw I just got. Off to Jano Monday with before and after samples. MP is good at 101.2 initial and 102 clear. Nice sharp MP. Happy with the result on it. Just ethanol as solvent and carbon wash/filter through celite and slow cool from 60c. Seeded at 40c. MP video starts at 101c 1c/min rate. Out of the bag MP was 90c initial and 100c clear. So both depressed and extended. Powder looked fairly white(light beige)but was yellow as piss once in BB, would not go into dissolution. I ran it up to 250mg/ml in straight BB and up to 150c.
