"Retard strength"; compliment or insult?

Honestly I have never, not once in my life, heard a mentally challenged person called retarded. Like I have NEVER heard it used as an insult. The ONLY context I have ever heard it used in is "that's retarded" as in "that's stupid". Or potentially "Dude you're retarded" or "That guys a fucking retard." But they're referring to non-mentally challenged people. I get that it is insulting, but I think this is an instance where people get too woke and upset about being overly politically correct. I don't refer to people as retarded, but I often say "that's retarded". I don't feel like it should be that big of a deal.

I use the word retard a lot. I never realized until recently how much it offends people. I just figured since I was in special education it gives me a free pass. Kind of like a black guy calling another black guy a nigga. Lol.

Regardless, I've never really looked at it as an insult or a compliment, just the truth.
 
I mean a lot of us hold ourselves back with mental blocks. Imagine not having the mental capacity to create those blocks. Boom, that’s Retard Strength. PC or not, it’s gotta be a thing. I’ve seen some pretty impressive things.

That’s “retard strength” in a nutshell. Most people will stop themselves from giving a full 100% because there’s the realization that they could hurt themselves.

People with retard strength don’t have that mental block. They go from 0 to 100%.

That sounds like a typical prison story, total bullshit. No way any amount of that is true. Commissary comes weekly, you're not disrupting an entire blocks commissary without getting killed, commissary is currency and people owe... Also, they're not gonna send 6 dudes from the chess club to stop the green mile. Fun times tho.

Not a snow flake..just honest. I have cousin who is retarded.. he is now 24yrs old.. he is extremely strong pound for pound its crazy.. I Here the the phrase alot and I'm guilty of it as well.. doesn't mean I care less.. it's a figure of speech
 
Years ago doctors had levels of mental retardation...a moron had an IQ of 60-70, an imbecile was 50-59 and an idiot was below 50...the things I learned from watching the three stooges..
