Recomp macros

Hey guys,

In my intro thread, i mentioned that i wanted to lose weight then bulk back up again. A few members mentioned that it is a waste of time to lose weight just to put it back on. That I should focus on losing fat and building muscle at the same time. This sounds like a recomp to me. If I am wrong please advise me.

I never have done a recomp before, just the standard bulking and cutting phases. If anyone has any tips and advice on this, i'd love to hear it.

Also, I do track macros, I was just wondering, do I need to put myself at maintenance or in a small deficit to achieve this?

The only thing you need to go on a deficit is fat. Complex carbs and proteins are OK. Only 5 % of your carbs get a chance to turn into fat. NOT SIGNIFICANT. You can ingest sugar only with your meals(must be LOW fat) to increase insulin. But avoid sugar in between meals. High protein snacks and complex carb snacks are OK as long as there's no sugar on them.

Do not add sugar to a fatty meal.
Insulin+fat= bodybuilders nightmare

If you on trt that can also add water and fat if estrogen is not kept dead center

Ok that makes sense. I am on TRT (clomid 50mg ED, been on that since july 2016). Estrogen is good, don't remember the exact value off the top of my head, but I am having no high E side effects.

Roughly maintenance or slightly above.

The exact breakdown of macros is irrelevant. Get sufficient protein and fat, the rest from carbs.

Plenty of cardio.

You will recomp.

I really hope the guy's post DOESNT make sense to you bc its full of bullshit

I've done my research on nutrition, I took his point with a grain of salt. Only thing I agree with is having E dialed in. Sorry, my mistake I should have stated that.

When you say slightly above maintenance, are you thinking in the 100 - 200 cal range?
I upped my protein macros and carbs and dropped fat a bit, but i'll readjust when I get home. Thank you for your response.

Are you a wizard I just considered asking for a recomp 101 basics as I am planning one if my bloods come back okay cause I came off superdrol a month ago and my recomp would look like yours just with reduced fat in favor of protein and carb and
16mg salbutamol ed
125mg omnadren eod
100mg anavar ed/pwo

Who knows I may be part wizard. My finace says I have the magic touch, if you nahm sayin.

I made a post in the legal section, I want to venture to the dark side, just super-paranoid. I want to be as safe as possible (just like anyone). I'm probably just over-analyzing it, who knows.
