Race to 405 bench?

I’m down for it. Current best is 345 a few months back. I think there is a thread for this already or is it combined total ? Maybe it was the 4-5-6 plate thread

Tbh I’d be stoked to get 350 on the platform at my next meet. I think I’m a long way off of 405
That would be sick. I’m hoping I can get 335 when this program peaks. I haven’t started the strength phase yet. I’ll probably run it again with updated numbers after this.
 
Anybody do zercher squats or good mornings? They helped me tremendously
I was doing good mornings pretty frequently for a few blocks. Never really been a fan of zercher squats. My front squats turn into zercher squats at heavier weights, lol

I hear you on the zercher squats. We would use different varieties of stances, wide vs narrow, some standing, some seated. These and pulling against bands were brutal

I like good mornings. Especially now that I can do them with a SSB lol. Going from 500-600+ DL I did a lot of good mornings, GHR’s, and leg presses...I feel leg presses are severely underrated.

I agree, I always thought leg presses were over rated for strength purposes.
