A quick & dirty serum GH test is second to Jano imo, and both are better indicators of GH quality compared to IGF1 response
IGF1 is a one way indicator: if it increases, it's a fairly safe assumption that the GH is good. BUT if IGF1 doesn't increase (or less than expected), it's not a great assumption that the GH is bunk (it could be, but you'd need a Jano test for confirmation [I don't know of any vendors who would reimburse for a poor quick & dirty GH test as there are too many things can go wrong])
